Worst 'bank" ever. More like a scam than a bank. They keep sending me new debit cards even after my account is closed many years ago. I never used any. I called customer service, explained it and cancelled their debit card again. Customer service confirmed that all my account is closed and card cancelled. Now they have sent me a replacement card AGAIN!!

A couple of weeks ago I needed to make a phone call enquiry with ME Bank. It's true that you can expect to be on hold for quite a while... I was 40 minutes. I really didn't expect anyone to pick up the phone at this stage and I must say I was quite shocked when they did! But what a pleasant surprise that was... Vicki answered the phone and provided me with 5 star customer service the entire way through. A great, fun, bubbly personality. Vicki was very reassuring and my enquiry was solved promptly a couple of days later. Thank you Vicki for your service and for making my time on hold completely

Worst experience with this bank
Basically declined our building loan at the 11th hour after months and months of waiting for pre approval (that was finally approved)!
Had to ring builder and tell them to not start!
Interest rates are terrible as well
Commonwealth bank took 2 weeks what ME took 3 months!!! And gave a better rate straight away

I have rung three times today.
Get Covid - but have you scheduled staff remotely?
Now given up after waiting again for twenty something minutes for the umpteenth time.
This service is appalling - not the staff but the management who organised this customer interaction.
When you speak to staff (as on previous occasions) they are great - but Management look at your phone stats and tell me that's good customer service???

Have heard conflicted opinions about ME bank, but terrible experience just to get the account open! First call: Not helpful customer service put me on hold for over 30 mins without getting anywhere. Called the third time today and found out I actually need to submit further documents which I have no idea about, and told me to write down that email address and send them what they need asap (fail application otherwise) LOL super frustrating

This bank is just set up on the cheap and reflects in the user experience.
Not user friendly. Considering it is online only I would expect much better online experience. All I want to do is set up bpay for my Frank credit card, but I need the customer reference number which is found on a statement, yet it wont let me download or view the statement. Why make it so frustrating and difficult, why not use the credit card number as a reference number like every other normal bank! And transactions don't show up for days, unlike a real bank, it shows up instantly.

I have a term deposit with the bank ... around $170K. The term deposit does not mature for around 6 months time. I have a reasonable salary of more than $135K per year. I requested them a personal loan of $15K for a period of 1 year that I was sure I will pay off in 2 months max - I offered them my term deposit as a security (which was 10 times the proposed loan value). They refused the loan application putting a negative credit score for me. When I asked for the reason, they have a policy of not telling you the reason instead a very vague answer that so many things are considered while assessing

My partner and I signed up for a house and land package with ME Bank providing unconditional finance approval in June 2016.
Because our builder, Aussie Living, stalled the building process, our home wasn't built for over a year.
After the land had settled ME Bank then pulled out of half of our mortgage.
Now we are stuck with a pile of sand nobody will give us finance to build on, homeless, with a rocky relationship at best.
They don't care that we put a huge cash deposit in.
We have since cancelled our membership package fees and they took the much needed money out of our account this
