Pyrmont Point Hotel
Down towards the Blackwattle Bay end of Harris Street lies Pyrmont Point Hotel. Sitting in the heart of historic Pyrmont, our multi-level venue features four main areas, balconies, a bistro, a sun-filled courtyard & three function spaces available for private or corporate use. The public bar has all the hallmarks to be expected from a heritage-listed pub, complete with timber panelled bar and relaxed seating.

Head upstairs to the hushed surrounds of Margot's Lounge, where there are plenty of ottomans & a large fireplace, dine in our light-filled, enclosed Verandah, or sip on cocktails at the Karma Bar as you look out over John St Square. Our extensive range of local craft and international beers, spirits & fine wine make for the perfect way to enjoy a drink in our beautiful courtyard while soaking up the sun.

Menu is always refreshed with a good sample of daily specials, and they've got a great patio and plenty of outdoor seating. My partner loves the pies on rotation, and I really appreciate that they're dog friendly.

A favourite for locals. Reliably good pub food. Great courtyard (John Street Square )for kids to play and scoot. The pub itself needs some renovation and a facelift.

Good portions of excellent food, with some fancier options than your standard pub. Good selection of beers, with good and varied seating. Not to mention the lovely staff. Would definitely recommend.

Extraordinarily quiet for a Sunday. Pleasant surroundings, friendly staff and tasty food (apart from the very dry duck bao buns - duck and buns).
Lovely place to catch-up with friends and while away a few hours.
Prices are about right.

Came for Christmas party gathering with work mates. Great live band entertainment. Had crispy pork belly that's really crispy on the outside. It has lots of salt so can get a bit salty towards finishing my meal. Kale on the side is cooked nicely, overall great drinks offering with wonderful atmosphere to hang out with mates.

The must tried on the menu are the Mussels. Also I highly recommend the Ribs. For the Vegetarians, I suggest the Cauliflower.

Staff at Pyrmont Point Hotel are super friendly and helpful. They were so patient and accommodating when I had to fill up a dozen water bottles for tired teenagers on a school trip. Will definitely give them my business when I come to Sydney next time without students.

If someone asked me if I'd go back. That would be a definite yes!!
Tried this pub for dinner and I'm certainly glad I brought an appetite.
Aside from the food being well presented the serving size was impressive. I ordered the half size ribs and still could have fed the two of us.
Nice chilled atmosphere and I liked the venue. I'm sure there is more to explore here.

This is our "go to" restaurant now, since we live very close by. When our dinner plan fell through, we just walk over here. Good menu selections from soup, salad to steak and risotto. Beer selections are pretty good as well- usually 8-10 beer on the tap. TVs around to watch games, or you can go upstairs for more quieter dining experience.

Lunch special: Chimichurri chicken Ceaser salad. Best salad I have ever had at a pub. Crispy bacon, perfect egg, anchovies, parmesan and a great Ceaser sauce. Only flaw was chicken could have been chopped up before serving.

Loved this place 10 years ago when it was the only decent bistro in Pyrmont. The last few times we have visited we were not impressed by the food.

This time the chips that came with the chicken schnitzel were soggy and there was a hair in the other dish we ordered.

Won't be coming back again.

Now that there is a light rail running around the inner suburbs (at least to the West) this place is a little easier to get to (not that I ever went out this far until recently). It's actually a really nice hotel hidden away in the back streets of Pyrmont, away from the hustle and bustle of the really touristy areas. It is more of a locals hotel, but a really nice one at that. Okay, when I was here it was early afternoon, but the place seemed really relaxed, and the staff were pretty nice as well. The upstairs area is actually really nice, still having that old charm about it. Be careful with

My food was ok. My girlfriends steak was ordered medium. Came out well done and cold. She asked for extra sauce to counter it being so over cooked and told us we would get free desert. We waited for half hour after finishing to see if we got offered desert. No dice.

I want to give props to the owner this evening. We got some takeaway. The girls wanted some calamari, but being young they don't want the salad and sauce that comes with the tapas version. The person sitting next to us was the owner. He heard that the girls were disappointed in the presentation. I said I'll just go back in and order another batch just dry. He asked us how we wanted it and went into the kitchen and had it fixed. He didn't have to do that because I all likelihood I ordered it wrong. So thank you sir it is most appreciated. My family loves our local pub. We will definitely

Fantastic food every time we've been. Very nice atmosphere as well.

However.... if you don't like a lot of children about, don't dine on Sunday afternoons when kids eat for free.

As a relaxed place to get a drink, the Pyrmont Point Hotel fits the bill. It's a standard pub located at the corner of Harris and John Streets, close enough to the water that you can feel a cool breeze. I came here with several friends for a drink since we were waiting for a later dinner reservation in Pyrmont. We had time to kill, so all of us decided to stop for some beer at the Pyrmont Point Hotel. There really isn't anything that sets this pub apart from others. The bartenders were pretty plain, but competent. It really sucks that there's a $20 minimum for card transactions

Based right down the end of Harris Street as you almost hit the water is The Pyrmont Point Hotel. A great place for locals and workers in the area to stop in, have a drink and something to eat.

The sports bar as you enter, you guessed it shows sport pretty much all of the day and night. There is a TAB area tucked away to the side if you feel the urge to have a bet on what you're watching. As you walk through there's a couple of rooms as you head through to the back court yard which is quite nice. On the way you'll pass the bistro which is quite popular especially with the work crowd
