The tours and guides were all very good, particularly Lennie who escorted us around Taiwan. Interestingly, we were the only Australians among the 23 on this particular tour but we met lovely Europeans and Americans. The hotels were all very good, particularly Fleur de Chine at Sun Moon Lake which was quite special.
What is it that makes foreigners want to shout "Bravo!" when they experience Taiwan? This year the Taiwan Tourism Bureau has produced short promotional videos centered on six different themes, using a quasi-documentary method to present the actual experiences of foreign travelers in Taiwan. The films express how the island affects foreign tourists so much that their only response is, "Bravo!"

This dodgy travel agent has made my family group day tour to Blue Mountains like hell!!! The rude driver demanding tips yet no courtesy to make even ONE stop for ladies & children in need for visiting the rest rooms!! bloody dodgy Chinese cheap and nasty service yet they charged us more for the entry tickets than the prices listed on site!!!??? DON'T be fooled by their low $39 (booking through Victoria Tele World Travel) advertised day tour deal to the Blue Mts as everything else wasn't included such as the entry tickets (they charge more than it should be), the meal (they took us to the only restaurant
