Macarthur Accommodation System exists to improve the quality of life of adults with mild to moderate intellectual disabilities in the Macarthur district with residential and lifestyle choice. Whether support is needed in a family home environment or in a supported residential home managed by Macarthur Accommodation System, staff members are trained to provide exactly what is needed.

Macarthur Accommodation System currently manages one 24 hour group home. Staff work morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts to provide a high level of care and support to the four residents who live in the home. From dancing through to birthdays and sporting events, the residents of Macarthur Accommodation System do a whole range of activities within the community.

Macarthur Accommodation System has a few fundraisers throughout the year. Anyone who attends these events throughout the year always has a great time supporting a good cause! Our fundraisers include a community fashion show and a shopping bus trip. As a registered Charity (CC24373) and a deductible gift recipient, we are eligible to receive donations.
NDS photo shoot in 2011 - photos still being used in training, conference and annual report publications. MAS is a member of NDS Subcommittees - Ageing and disability Subcommittee and the Accommodation Subcommittee. Run from MDS the Disability Network meets 6 weekly to discuss the changing environment of the disability sector.
Macarthur Accommodation System currently manages two 24 hour group homes located in Bradbury. The residents are all funded under the NDIS. Staff work morning, afternoon and sleepover shifts to provide a high level of care and support to the eight residents who live in the homes. Personal therapy routines including positioning in bed, exercises and stretching requiring staff support and support during exercise physiology.
