DO NOT USE COOTE FAMILY LAWYERS!!!
They do not care about their clients, do not act in their clients best interests, will make "mistakes", work against you- their client and enjoy every minute of it whilst robbing you blind of all your money. They create the need for correspondence just to keep you paying their ridiculously high fees and will do everything to keep you in court- more $$$$ for them.
Annelis is totally incompetent and tries to manipulate but her tactics are so obvious it's amusing that she actually thinks she is so clever.
Go elsewhere and actually get the great results you want

When you are going through a very difficult time and need legal advice to resolve personal matters, choosing the right legal professional is critical to the overall outcome of the negotiations and support needed during this time. I almost never leave reviews. I often think I will but never get around to it but this time it's different. We're not talking about letting everyone know I had a good coffee. This review is about a difficult and life changing experience - divorce. Coote Family Lawyers were everything I was hoping for. I changed representation part way through my proceedings because I didn't want an adversarial process and wanted my first wife to have financial independence. Many lawyers just want to "win" and they justify it by saying it is the best deal for their client. Charlotte always made clear what my options

If your family is in crisis STAY AWAY from this firm especially if you are a woman.
They will take you under their wing and make you fell like a victim while they bleed your family dry.
They will ruin you relationships with your children and ensure you are put through the court system for a long as possible.
They will find any means of eliminating communication with your former partner and replace that with barrages of letter writing which will cost you thousands of dollars.
When things go quiet they will find any reason to write another letter.
This firm should not be practicing family law
