I booked 2x double rooms, with a shared bathroom between 4. I called to ensure I had booked a room with a kitchenette & with the private bathroom for our two rooms and was told we had booked the correct room. When we arrived at the hostel we were told we were not in those rooms, and did not have a kitchenette or a private bathroom. When I asked if we could please swap to this room, I was told we were unable to unless we booked for another night. Very upsetting service and I would not recommend staying at this hostel.

Amazing location, free bike and surfboard use, huge kitchen that is obviously lovingly taken care of. Excellent water pressure in the washrooms. Multiple options available for accommodation, from shared dorms to private ensuites. Rooms are both spacious and clean. The staff are exceptional, and will give you the shirt off their back if they think it will make your stay more enjoyable. When they're not working they're out at the tables bringing everyone together and encouraging a fun, social night.

The worst hostel Experience ever. Extremely warm and small rooms with just one little rusty noise fan. Too expensive for what they offer. No rules for noise, I could not sleep before 4:30am because of party people uncontrolled by staff. FULL of mosquitos, Dirty bathroom. Do not waste your money if you have another option. There are lots of good hostels in Byron but this one is definitely bad.

Love this place. Its clean and friendly here. Nice and close to central byron bay. There is a supermarket 20m away and an awesome night club across the road. Bike hire, bedding and kitchenware is free (with security deposit) dorms are only 4 people so feels a bit more private.
I highly recommend this place.

Very nice hostel, specially recommended for backpackers and people who travels alone, because there is a pretty good atmosphere and it is very easy to meet people! The location is not next to the beach, but 5 minutes walk will take you there, and there are free bikes and surf boards to use, just with a small deposit that is given back later, so that is pretty pretty cool! I recommend it as the value for the money is great, I had an awesome stay in there!
