Yuka started her successful career in Japan in 1998. Within five years she became the manager of her first salon and was trusted to train all new apprentices in the art of hairdressing, guiding them through the etiquette and provision of superior client services that she is so well known for. Yuka has always had a strong passion for her art and enjoys seeing her clients happy.

Yuka has been my hairdresser for over 10 years now and has always done such a fantastic job. She’s a consummate professional, who’s patient and listens to what I’m after at that time. Highly recommended Zakura hair ! Yuka is a talented hair dresser who always put a smile on my face each time I visit her. She is so swift in customer service yet very efficient in understanding what actually the customer is after. She is always reliable and punctual for each appointment. With my recent wedding, Yuka had 8 bridal party guest to work on in a short period time for hair and makeup. She handled each guest with care and worked her magic with a smile. I went to see Yuka at Zakura Hair in order to have my quite fine but curly hair straightened. She used the Shiseido Japanese hair straightening treatment and the result was superb. Yuka is clearly an expert in her field and beyond this she is also a delightful person. I definitely recommend her top notch service!

Before I was recommended to Yuka I used to visit different hairdressers because I could no trust any of them with my hair after the first experience with them, with Yuka is different she has being my hairdresser for more than year now and I am happy to recommend her because she understand the clients needs, she is very professional and takes good care of my hair. Yuka has been my hairdresser for the past 8 years, she is a very experienced hairdresser. On every visit, I can trust and rely on her to get the haircut I desire. I'm very happy with her service and amazed with the end result. My hair is difficult to work with being quite thick, stubborn and a handful. Although it was difficult to find the experienced hairdresser whom can work with my hair while making it looking amazing, I am very lucky to have found Yuka!!
I must also say, her professional experience in colour/Japanese straightening are also one of the best in Sydney. I highly recommend Zakura

I went to see Yuka at Zakura Hair last Friday evening for cut and color. I told her the color I was planning to have and just trim for this time. She gave me recommendations on colour and hairstyle to lift up and have a refreshing appearance for summer. I never had short hair in my life but Yuka gave me the confidence it will look good on me.
