It is so hard these days to find a holiday that the whole family will enjoy. We stayed two night with two teenager girls 14 & 15 and they had the best time.
Being about to go on the back of the Ute to round up the horses and horse riding through the beautiful forest.
Sitting at the fire at night toasting marshmallows with the two farm dogs either side of them.
The family that run the place go above and beyond to make you stay memorable. You can tell they they love what they do and are so patient with the younger children.
We can’t wait to come back.
Best memories that will stay with us forever

We stayed 2 nights mid-week. Took 4 young kids (all under 5) and stayed in the cottage. The grounds are beautiful. The accommodation was lovely and clean. The building isn't anything fancy, its quite old but it all adds to the experience. Was a bit nervous about the dam and 'no sense' 2 year olds'. So need to keep tabs on everyone - and bins in front of gaps in the fence. But we had everything we needed. The little red farm dog was probably my highlight. A wonderful little hostess.

Wow! This farm stay is what I always dream about! Wish we have more time to stay and enjoy the other things the farm has to offer. The cottage house was unique and has most amenities you can imagine. From rice cooker to beds, pillows and towels.
The place is massive and our family friends kids were able to enjoy running, climbing and exhausting themselves on on the playground and checking out the farm animals.
We were able to use the telly after my sister figured and stuck on to get the receiver working.
One of the best part was in the morning where all the sheep were out and we could take video

What amazing hosts and chalets. Claire and Chad are just such beautiful and welcoming people. All the activities they include their guests in make it so you don't have to leave the property to keep the family… busy. Everything is well set up so you can watch the kids running around in the open spaces from your chalet varandah. I would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.

Most amazing weekend spent at Lucieville Chalets. The whole family is friendly, welcoming and super helpful. We had a ball feeding the animals both mornings, horse riding, making damper, and canoeing on on of the numerous canoes around the lake. The chalets are superbly set up, with view on the lake..

Great open spaces with so many activities- canoeing, boat paddling, playground, horse riding, dampening.
The atmosphere was perfect for our family and large group of friends, our kids could run free and indulge in a country weekend.
The owners welcome you like long time friends, taking time out so the kids can help round the the horses- to help… milk the cow and bottle feed the kids/lambs, feed the other animals and get a chance to pet them. The room had everything you need with the feel of a loved little cabin. Plenty of spare blankets for the cold nights, wood is chopped for your fire

The most beautiful, divine and wholesome experience ever. My mum , my 3 yr old daughter and myself stayed for the week. The views and scenery alone were spectacular. but what really makes this the best… destination ever. Is the farmers working there and the beautiful and kind animals that live on the farm. I cannot recommend this experience enough. 10/10 will go back again and my family and I plan to make it a regular holiday spot.

A must do. Claire and Chad deliver a great farm stay experience with animal feeding every day, horse riding, bush walks, even farm work if you're keen. A sixth generation farm just outside Bridgetown, Lucieville is the perfect place to experience the realities of rural life and farm production. Fresh milk, hand made butter, local preserves, damper and bonfires (restrictions permitting). The cabins have all you need to be self contained, but the local towns have an abundance of great food and wine if you're free to indulge.
Get out of town, get down south. You'll love it.

We just spent the most amazing three nights with our family! Our boys had permanent smiles on their faces. Feeding all the animals in the morning was lots of fun and making damper over a bush fire a real… highlight. Chad & Claire are beautiful down to earth people who make your stay! Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away and experience pure serenity and nature at its best!
