We believe we are big enough to offer a diverse range of skills and experience whilst giving you the choice to see your favourite vet if that is your preference. Please chat to our friendly staff if you have particular needs. For the safety of our staff and clients we kindly remind everyone to wear their appropriate face covering when coming to your appointment.

It is now mandatory to wear these and we do not want to put anyone's health and safety at risk or to receive an unnecessary fine. Please refer to our Facebook page for more information on what face covering are appropriate. Melton Veterinary Clinic is taking many steps to protect the health and welfare of clients, staff and animals during this unprecedented time.

Please note that Cheques of any kind will not be accepted. For emergencies and more complicated procedures, a payment plan may be available through Vet Pay. Please note that on line pre-approval applications cans take up to 48 hours for confirmation, otherwise our friendly reception team can assist you with pre-approval at the clinic with an instant result.
Here at the Melton Vet Clinic, we strive to provide the best possible care for your pets and to keep you informed every step of the way. Our staff are always friendly and are happy to help with any problem or question you may have. At the Melton Veterinary Clinic we run by appointments, however, if you have an emergency, we will see you at any time, no appointment necessary.
As we are only a small business we have limited places available for students only taking 1 student per week from Year 10, 11 or 12, or TAFE/University students who are already enrolled in a Veterinary Nursing course. We only offer a maximum of 2 weeks per student as we are no longer offering ongoing placement periods.

After being with this vet for many years and my dog last only seeing them 12 months ago and him being diagnosed by them with Heart Murmer, they won’t release his prescription medication because I only have his repeat on email not paper and our new vet is closed over the weekend in NSW to send them what they are requesting.
I came to visit my mother here for the weekend and ended up getting stuck he for a little longer, my dogs tables have now ran out.
It’s so sad how vets make out they care about our fur babies but really all it is to them is money $$$ they are happy to let my dog go without

I raced my Bulldog to another Vet that had no compassion and was more worried about money more than having a love for Animals. I raced my girl here and straight away the Vet was onto it trying to save my girls life. Thanks to Melton Veterinary Clinic my Baby, my mate is jumping around causing her usual mischief loving life.
Nothing I have or anything I could do can pay them back for what they did for us.
Thankyou!

Initially coming to the vet was difficult. Contact was abrupt n lacked empathy . However, once learning why I was there, attitudes were quick to change. The team were friendly supportive n worked to make a terrible situation bearable.

Wonderful vet service. Have used them a few times in relation to dropping off animals found on side of road needed to be identified that people have just left after being hit.
They assisted with a temporary foster dog that was clearly mistreated by owner as the rspca would not get involved.
And we're quick to respond when I came home to my dachshund having an allergic reaction to something.
The vets and the team are all lovely and care for owners and all the animals that come through the door regardless of what it is
