This place is great. I booked half an hour in advance, walked in, and they were ready to go, no waiting or lines. An extremely pretty girl served me, I'm sorry, I didn't catch her name. She was lovely though. Very professional. Took care, didn't ask me too many questions or make me feel like a goof for not knowing anything about hair, and gave me a much better haircut than I am use to.
The owner came out halfway through, greeted me and offered me a drink. Lovely gesture. You can tell he really cares. Seems very genuine.

First time at Saint James hair studio, a couple of weeks ago. James was lovely and very chatty which I loved, he clearly loves his job. However I was not very happy with my haircut and also the pricing. I asked for a trim and was left with shorter hair and it just looks uneven and blunt and heavy. Even my friends mentioned it. Same with the curtain bangs , they are just uneven and I didn’t realise it until I got home. The blow dry was not the best, she didn’t even touch my bangs , and the curling was just as bad. No sectioning , just taking big lumps of hair and curling them around the iron

I have been a long time client of James personally. Over 15 years! There are quite a few reasons why. Firstly he is the most passionate hairdresser I have ever met. He is so enthusiastic to share his knowledge and I have learned a lot over the years from listening to all the advice he has offered during my visit. I always leave looking and feeling amazing!

I have always known James to be a good hairdresser but my visit last week really showed me his professionalism as a great hairdresser!
He was calm under pressure and did not rush the service, despite working alone.
I always had long hair since I was a kid and couldn’t go shorter because of my bad experiences...but I finally decided to go short and wow!! I love my haircut and James really changed my life!!! :)
Also, I was very impressed how he handled a tricky client. I was more nervous next to her!
His services cost more but definitely worth it!

Been getting my haircut regularly by Tiffany for a while now, can safely say it's been the best & most consistent experience I've ever had at a hairdresser. Never has anyone put so much effort & detail into a "boys" cut and the results are more than pleasing. I constantly receive compliments after every haircut. The head massage, I mean hair wash.... is even better. Rest of the staff there are all fantastic as well.

James and the team are fantastic! I have now been going to the salon for the past few years & always come away with a haircut I love and feeling thoroughly pampered! They are always friendly and professional, and I would most definitely recommend popping in and giving the a go.
Just over a month ago I made the decision to get my hair permanently straightened, I couldn't be happier with the results! My hair looks fantastic (I have had a huge number of comments) and I love it!
