Longitude Insurance

Something like - 2 years ago I wouldn’t have recommended Longitude to anyone due to poor claims, and customer service, However today I highly recommend Longitude. Their services have improved dramatically and claims and customer service that the QLD market is receiving is great and they seem to constantly be improving. If you are in QLD I would certainly recommend giving them a go, you won’t get disappointed.

Absolutely garbage . Rejected claim and decided not to inform myself or my strata body . Found contractual loophole to avoid paying fair claim . I personally recommend if your part of a strata committee or run strata to avoid them like the plaige . Will recommend all my friends and family as well as business associates to have nothing to do with them . Unfortunately cannot review less than 1 star

I really disliked their service, and they were very disrespectful to me and i witnessed them being rude to other customers. I recommend looking for a different insurance company, as this company will waste your time and money.

These guys are building insurers for body corporates. You can assume anyone who gave them five stars was paid to do so. I'd give them zero stars if that was an option. Took months to respond to our claim, then gave us an out-of-hand rejection, despite the contents insurer having already decided we had a legitimate claim and agreeing to replace the carpets. Don't deserve to be in business.

After NBN contractors damaged our Fire Service Main at our apartment block. They are refusing to cover our claim, and have failed to explain to the myself or the OC why. We are in the process of now taking our complaint to the financial ombudsman. Completely unacceptable, avoid this insurer.

Terrible claims paying experience. Took months and a ridiculous amount of constant following up and jumping through hoops to even get them to accept a simple claim and now that the job is done, the contractor is still following me up for payment because they haven't paid him! Would never recommend these guys. They just don't care and good luck getting any form of reply from them without threatening legal action.
