Radiographs are generally required to check for decay in between teeth, decay under fillings and crowns and if there is any bone loss around teeth from gum disease. At King Street Dental we use low radiation dosed digital radiographs, a panoramic machine for OPGs and can provide Cone beam scans if required for wisdom teeth removal, implants or endodontic treatment.
With Invisalign you can easily maintain oral hygiene; eat your favourite foods after removing the removable aligner, brush and floss normally, then replace the aligner. Under normal circumstances, it is recommended that the aligners are worn 22 hours a day, with them being removed for eating & cleaning only.
In most cases, there is not enough room for the wisdom teeth to come easily through the gums, and they will be prevented from coming through by the teeth in front. As such, the wisdom teeth will remain partially or completely below the line of the gum (also called impaction). This can lead to an infection around the wisdom tooth or lead to problems with adjacent teeth.

Excellent dentist. Completely painless procedure (I was having a molar extracted), they played music because I was uncomfortable with the noises from the dental tools. The receptionist was lovely, the office is beautiful, it's very comfortable. 100% better than other dentists I've been to in newcastle. Dr. Singh even took my call around 6:40pm to address some post-operative questions I had.

My partner needed a tooth pulled urgently he was in so much pain and they took their lunch break to be able to do it! They are so kind and did such an amazing job I cannot thank you guys enough. Thank you so very much he is no longer in pain and is healing well. If you ever need dental work done this is the place to go!

Went to the dentist almost 2 weeks ago. Done everything they told me so I could clear this gum infection up, without antibiotics mind you .... My gums are red, swollen and so so sore they are starting to peel in a way I've never had this happen before. All I had done was a scale and clean, it was the worst pain I've ever felt and there wasn't any sympathy from the dentist herself but her assistant was amazing she really helped me, I didn't enjoy my experience what so ever and my gums are just getting worse , I was told the next day they'll start feeling better well it's now been almost 2 weeks

I attended King Street Dental due to a fall in the middle of the night that resulted in 2 broken teeth. The caps I received look amazing and very natural. I haven’t been to the dentist for 20 years due to a poor experience. I am going back for a full check up and will be a regular patient. Would thoroughly recommend.

Been coming here for a few years. Dr singh has a small practice and is always respectful of my financial position and never does any unnecessary tests, excellent work at a reasonable cost, always respectful and great service, patient with my anxiety around dentists. I also like she is woman dentist. Has been great for my implant follow up and maintenance, as well as crown work, fillings, cleaning. My son also goes here so great for little ones and teens. 100% recommend.

I HIGHLY recommend Shika. I was in the waiting room listening to her attending to a little boy. The boy was so brave & I'm certain it's because of the dentist. She is very calming & knowledgable. I had no doubt I was going to be in good hands. I had an extraction & filling with no pain & no drama. Even gave me a blanket when I was cold. I was in need of a new dentist. So glad I found her. After care is also no bother & extremely helpful. 5 stars from me!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Kind and friendly service and could fit me in for an appointment the day after I called. Dr Singh is careful and diligent in her work and this made for an excellent pain-free service. As well as this Dr Singh took extra time to ensure my retaining wire fit comfortably and securely to my teeth and charged only half of what I was quoted for the same service elsewhere. I will be back in future!

I don’t live in Newcastle and had to make an urgent appointment. The thought of going to a dentist that I didn’t know was a little daunting, but I cannot recommend Dr Singh enough. She welcomed me and was very reassuring, professional, kind and caring. Her young assistant was lovely, as was the receptionist. Overall, a good experience, thank you! 🌟

The Dentist was friendly and did from what I can tell a good job. Unfortunately I will not be returning as the charges where unaffordable. I have had this same procedure done 10plus times at 5 different dentists across NSW and have always been charged the same standard rate of $120 recementing fee plus an oral examination fee. However on this occasion I was charged $200 recementing fee plus a $57 oral exam fee, more than ever before. I guess its shame on me for not asking for a quote before hand.

Sheikha is the best dentist I have ever seen. I have always had extremely bad anxiety when it came to the dentist but from the moment I walked through the door she made me feel at ease. I have only ever walked out once with a little pain and she called me a few hours after to see how I was feeling. I don’t think there is a more genuine caring dentist around

There was an exposure to my root in tooth number 9 (American number system) while the dentist was working on performing a filling. When I asked about why I was bleeding, Dr. Sheikha did not admit to the root exposure and said that it was just because she was working beneath the gum line, and that the root had not been affected. This root exposure… caused me to need a root canal and has given me serious problems (radiating pain) ever since (which was over one and a half years ago). I had two dentists look at my x-rays from before the filling and both confirmed that the filling would not likely

Great dental care. Dr Singh is an excellent dentist, with great attitude and very gentle hands. I had an emergency on a Sunday and she helped me to avoid going through additional pain. The treatment was completely painless. It is great to have a seven day dental clinic in Newcastle, with great professionals and a welcoming attitude.
