Contrasts is a small, suburban hair salon in The Grange. I've always had a soft spot for Contrasts because I walk past here nearly every day and they always have cute little messages on their A-frame blackboard sign out the front. It says things like '3 haircuts til Xmas'. Despite walking past so often and always thinking the atmosphere in there looked very welcoming and admiring their relatively late opening hours (for The Grange, anyway) I hadn't actually ever been inside until last year when I needed a last minute wash and blow-dry before a wedding.
