Our story began with a simple idea: to create a modern version of the traditional coffee shops in Malaysia. We want to give our customers a taste of Malaysian culture and cuisine, whether through a plate of Nasi Lemak or a crunchy, buttery Roti Canai, all with a cup of Teh Tarik - or any one of our more than 50 drinks on the menu!
Our delicately crafted dishes never fail to deliver bursts of flavour and colour because we use only an authentic mix of herbs, spices and fresh produce, cooked according to traditional recipes.

I usually love papparich but this restaurant had the loud staff attention bell right above our table.. kids pressing the button at other tables made this dining experience awful... and also the food... wow nothing like the menu photos the sticky rice with chicken entree was such a disappointment.. our beef noodle dish was just bland and boring such a shame as I love some of the food I had at the Carousel one. sorry guys but step it up and get rid of that bell!..

Chicken rice was nearly $15 and there were 6 measley pieces of chicken. It was shocking - what a rip off. Would've not eaten it and asked for a refund if it weren't for my hungry child.
One of the waitstaff was lovely, the other had poor customer skills and lack of basic manners. So many better places for asian food in Perth, won't be coming back here.

Although there was a long line outside the door, we were seated pretty quickly. The ordering method was very efficient but it took a while for waiters to respond to the push button. One time we pushed it hoping to have someone take a picture of the group for us by no one ever came.
We ordered the #R08: biriyani with fried chicken, eggplants and prawns, #R17: the biriyani with beef rendang and prawns, #DS07: Pappa signature quails and 3 drinks...mango mania, watermelon juice & milk chai. Our food arrived quickly and the portions were big.
For us the foods were little on the dry side, but

Had dinner with my hubby as he loves prata esp onion and eggs prata. We had an unusal dish which is quail, it is surprising delicious but quite pricey priced at $28 for a small bird. If their price is lower, we will visit more often. Service is average as we can see they are under staff. However kitchen service is very efficient and effective as food is channel out quickly despite of full capacity. Overall experience is still pleasant.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Malaysian Cuisine at it's finest and tastiest.
Whether you feel like rotti or noodles there is something for everybody. They do amazing cold coffees and drinks. The desserts looked so delicious which we will try next time.I thought the prices were reasonable and the serves were generous.
The meals are served really quick after ordering. Friendly and efficient wait staff. I will be back to try more delicious foods.

I always enjoy authenticity of Malaysian cuisine from Papparich. I also tried their branch in Preston and got consistency on the taste of the food. Most of all, it is easy to order using the provided order form and functionally easy to call the attention of the waiter/waitress via the push button on the table.
Drinks are a bit costly on my humble opinion.

I ordered one of the "signature dish" N13 Pappa Wat Tan Hor. Since there was no appetizer (i.e., side salad) on the menu, I asked for additional vegetables, and was told it would be $2 extra which I gladly paid. When the dish arrived, I mentioned it didn't look like there was extra vegetables. The server insists (without even looking at the dish) that it was added. Sadly it wasn't, because an adjacent table had the same order and it looked identical to mine. No one likes a lying server. The "signature" dish was loaded with so much ***sodium*** it overwhelms your taste

I came here as recommended by a mate, with high hopes of authentic Malaysian cuisine. The food was tasty but the service knocked this down to three stars.
Upon arrival, I was asked to put my outside drink in a bag as it wasn't allowed and then watched a child sip on his slurpee. I'm not quite sure why the same rule didn't apply to that party.
Then we sat and waited for a waiter to make eye contact so we could hand them our order slip. We ended up waving someone down after several minutes. This should not have been so challenging as it wasn't that busy and we still had closed

It's quite crowded most of the time. However, service is pretty quick so you don't have to wait for a long time after ordering. Water is free but you have to ask them to bring water for you. Quite expensive.
Chicken and seafood laksa, curry chicken nasi lemak is good. I wish there is more coconut in the soup and rice. It's not really spicy which is great for me. I also like crunchy eggplants in the laksa.
Not a fan of char kuay teow. It's not really special.

I was hoping for a little more from PappaRich - both in quality and portion size.
I got the chicken and roti combo (CO6 I think....) but was disappointed to be served four small pieces of overcooked chicken. The curry sauce was nice enough but the roti was the highlight by far.
The boy fared a bit better thanks to the mound of rice which came with his meal but the meat element was still on the smallish side.
Dumplings to share didn't leave an impression at all.
I will venture back to try some other dishes as perhaps we just got them on a bad night? Two mains a starter were less than $30

Pretty decent Malaysian food with a VERY wide selection of dishes. According to some Malaysian friends, the Papparich here in Australia is better than the ones in Malaysia; they attributed this to better ingredients used here.
The food... pretty good food, and definitely a good price for the area. The selection is extremely wide. I would recommend the chicken and I thought the noodles were pretty good. A friend had the chicken and rice, and it looked like a great option as well. The roti was also very good.

I was pretty keen to check this place out after a few Malaysian friends had said they really liked the food here. I like spicy full flavoured food and feel like this place was a little dumbed down.
It was reasonably cheap, incredibly fast, had a fun ordering system where you write down what number each dish is and the staff are just there to get the job done. The vegetarian noodles were fine but would have been pretty bland without the hot sauce I added to it. The apple, orange and water Mellon "juice" all contain a sugar syrup so not fresh at all but they are brightly coloured and

I went to PappaRich for one reason: Nasi Lemak (with chicken curry).
The nasi lemak was well done: the chicken curry and the chilli sambal were both richly flavoured. The chicken came with plenty of curry sauce, which is good to eat with the rice. I enjoyed the sambal enough to order more to go with my meal. (Unfortunately there's a charge for extra sambal :( )

I love PappaRich!
It was easy to get to, the food is good and the price is very acceptable especially when it comes close to pay day.
PappaRich has a wide variety of Malaysian Delights. I think the food is great though I am not Malaysian and it seems like Malaysians visit this place too.
PappaRich can get very busy so make sure you get there before or after the crowd as sometimes the lines go for a mile! The service here is efficient and all staff speak English! One think I find really cool is the way you order the food. The system works a bit differently where you write down the corresponding

Papparich is a Malaysian chain restaurant that served south-east Asian food. Located in QV (prime location), this restaurant is popular with many of the students and people that live and work around the area.
Do expect a long wait during peak periods, and please do not expect exceptional table service. I find it funny how people like to judge places by a dish (Ie. Hainanese Chicken Rice). Some restaurants are just better at making some things than other restaurants are.
That being said, I really do enjoy anything with Hainanese Chicken in it, and Papparich nails it. Get anything that has Chicken

I was pretty stoked to see this a new Malaysian restaurant crop up overnight in this prime QV location. On just their third night since opening, the place was jam packed with a fifteen minute wait for a table, so we popped down to Bread Top for a quick pre-dinner snack. We were seated within a couple of minutes of coming back at the perfect spot with a clear view of the counter adjoining the kitchen so we could see all the mouthwatering meals come out, but without being jostled or bumped into.
