A must try culinary experience amongst a magical backdrop of the harbour view. The harmonious blend of authentic recipes and expert wine pairings facilitated the perfect night out. You will be treated with phenomenal service, all whilst discovering that there isnβt a bad dish on the menu. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Incredible food! Every dish we tasted was flavourful and left us wanting to get seconds every time. Amazing staff that were extremely caring and polite. Located at such a great location, the views at dinner time are unmatched to any other restaurant Iβve been to. Couldnβt recommend this place more!

Food was ok, nothing out of the extraordinary.
There are plenty of better Indian Restaurants elsewhere.
Other than the view and the lady who served us, I was disappointed and really put off with everything.
The cook and the guy waiter were talking in their language which left the poor lady (who didn't speak their language) all by herself. Didn't really liked what I saw.
Ambience, decor, utensils, the place on the whole had a very unpleasant feel and smell.

Our experience was a dinner. The service was lovely and the food was delicious. We organised to have the experience of wine and scents, however there were no scents involved and the price difference between the dining experience and the dining with wine pairing is quite significant. I suggest just take your own wine for the $7 corkage fee. As much as the food was delicious and the service was lovely, we left feeling that we had paid far too much.

My score is 4.6 to be exact.
The food was really good imo. The ambiance was perfect, views were so nice, just romantic. I came with an Indian colleague, whilst she was being a critic at times (when it's food thats closer to your heart you tend to be more critical), she also often said "try this, very good" or at times she even said "close enough". So we know, thats a thumbs up, pretty authentic.
Got really full in the end, $85pp, their vegetarian course was just as good as the non-veg.
The only thing I felt was the waitress could've been more trained in terms of professionalism. But she is still

Great spot for a quiet and intimate night, the atmosphere was set very well by the lighting with enough light to see your food. The meat and vegetarian curries were equally as good, you can't really go wrong with what your order. The menu changes regions each season which gives great variety and shows you what people eat at home in India! Might have over ordered so would have liked to know size of dishes before ordering.

This was our first visit and we had a wonderful time . The menu spread here is very creative and the food is quite flavoursome. Having grown up relishing Mughlai food , very happy to see this princely kitchen… down under. The place is pretty small with scanty views of the harbour so it can get a bit noisy if there is a big group there. We ordered - 1. Lamb stock and noodle soup - very flavoursome ! Strong spices ! 2. Murg-e-Taus - Chicken thigh starter - this was yummy but we thought that the turmeric was a bit raw cause it left a bit of colour. 3. Bharta Shirazi - The description looked

Great food but VERY bad social distancing of tables I felt very uncomfortable. I even moved to get away from a person 2 feet away then I was in the way of another person ?!? There is no way the tables and patrons were adequately spaced out. If a COVID inspector came in Definetely a fine $$. They crammed as many all tables in as possible and no phone nos taken but I assume they have phone numbers from Bookings. You guys need to Lift your game and get rid of half your tables per sitting.

Lavendra is a beautiful cosy restaurant located close to the Wendy Whiteley Secret Garden steps that leads to Milsons Point waterfront.
It turned out to be a fantastic place with amazing tasting Indian food and equally great service from the manager and wait team.
For the month of December the theme is Goa Portuguese cuisine. We were told that the plan is to offer different Indian cuisine each month.
We started off with Pappadum with with 4 different dipping yogurt. It was a fantastic way to get your appetite going.
For main we ordered Butter Chicken (Murgh Markhani), Vindaloo Beef, Diced Lamb

I really thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Lavendra, we were under invitation but even so I don't let that sway my opinion on the food. The venue is cute and very intimate, with attentive and lovely staff. Backdrop of the harbour bridge it is such a lovely location!
I honestly thought it was so creative the modern twist on some great classics, they have three sections on the menu for anyone wanting traditional dishes, modern dishes and classics with a personal twist!
I loved the Duck filled Samosa, the Malibu Prawns and the black sesame dessert. Honestly i could not fault any of the dishes and would
