Staff attentive & the starters were excellent. Unfortunately the fish served for the mains was very poor. No taste, rubbery texture & looked as though it had been frozen & thawed several times! 4 of our party had various fish dishes & all had the same comments. Even basa from the local fish shop has tasted better!

Excellent Service, Mediocre Food
The entree (salt and pepper squid) were tough, chewy and almost tasteless until I started coating them with the gooey reduction they lay in. The sirloin was likewise tough and only flavoured by its gravy, while accompanying chips were soft and almost mushy.
That all said, the service was excellent, the cleanliness was topnotch and the ambiance seems designed for large, loud groups. I so wanted to give this restaurant a better score, but there are some things you can't ignore.
Regrettably, you can get a larger, tastier steak and chips from the Crows Nest Hotel

First day open after Covid lockdown! Staff were super attentive, energised, professional and happy to be there.
Started with fried stuffed zucchini flowers and salt and pepper squid with chili jam. Both served piping hot and were great.
Main courses of lobster and wood-fire barramundi with matching wines. The lobster was cooked perfectly and a side of lemon-butter allowed seasoning to taste.
Dessert was the WolF honey and white chocolate parfait - made with honey from the chef's own local hive including some small pieces of honeycomb - delicious. Also traditional sticky date pudding served in

Lovely ambience and delicious food! We had a bunch of different dishes and used share plates so all of us could have a taste of everything. My personal favourite were the scallops, and the curry. The other dishes were quite good as well. Only thing I would change next time is the fish pie. The taste was good, but I felt it was a bit less special compared to the other dishes.

Great place to grab some lunch or dinner. Popular destination for their seafood and beautiful beach front views of the Sydney Harbor. I had their fish and chips and it was the best I had. It is located by the iconic Manly Wharf. Perfect for a casual get together and has a bustling atmosphere. BYO wine in the restaurant if you prefer and the venue caters for anyone. Close to the Manly Beach as well, which is a 5 minute walk from the Corso with other shops, cafes, and restaurants. Highly recommend for anyone in the mood for some seafood.

Very enjoyable meal! Not one missed step in the food department ~
Starting with cocktails, very elegant glassware and the mixologist knew what they were doing.
Starting with the Salt & Pepper Calamari. Delicately fried in rice flower maybe??? Nicely presented too~
I have the Scampi, which is very different from Scampi in the States. These shrimp were absolutely perfectly prepared. Not over fussed with, they allowed the flavors to be on their own soft, flavorful so much so I could have eaten another plate of these delicate sea creatures!!!!!
For dessert we shared a Salted Carmel

I'm a fussy eater (read passionate foodie) and choose my restaurant experience carefully. These guys really "get it". The views, the service and the food is all done to perfection. I have been back here many times as my 'go to' restaurant of choice. It is a little noisy near the kitchen, so if you're looking for a romantic dinner, I'd suggest booking away from the there.
All I can say is amazing food and great memories have been at Garfish. Anything I have ordered from the menu has never failed to disappoint. Can't recommend this place highly enough, I

After reading the reviews I was expecting something amazing. But it really wasn't. Not for the price that you are paying. So for salmon you will be paying $35, and honestly for that price I am expecting the salmon to be one of the best cooked salmons I've had. I was hoping for a Master Chef moment where I can comment on the slight taste of dill, and the cleansing 'something' on the palate. But the salmon was ordinary - the same as I would expect from a bar.
The snapper pie is probably the best thing on the menu - but again not that amazing that I'd pay $38 for. Sorry

The best place we have had dinner in Australia/Sydney during our 3.5 week holiday!
The location is perfect being in the bay of manly wharf and the atmosphere is trendy and enjoyable. We ordered the 'fruit du mere' which was a great variety of different fish as starter and main. The Spanish lady who serviced us was a great host amongst other things recommending us to not let everything being served at the same time (normal set up..) as it gets cold before you have time to eat it. This combined with a bottle of nice Italian wine made a lovely evening for us.
Don't forget to bring
