Individual consultations allow for current performances to be explored, values and goals to be assessed and a psychological approach to behaviour change to be put in place. Athletes can work towards a tougher mind and become more resilient to the unhelpful experiences they may face in their sporting careers.
Sport Psychology Tasmania can provide workshops and presentations to teams and groups around the state. Sport Psychology Tasmania can provide one off, or multiple presentations to teams, squads, coaching groups, and parent groups.
The presentations and workshops can be catered to the needs of the group, with the aim to build knowledge of the mental aspects of sports performance and how members can work together and apply mental skills to sporting performances. When working with groups, programs can be established that provide ongoing support to individuals within groups, as follow up and specific support to those who wish to engage.
