We have been repairing motor vehicles for more than 25 years, originally situated on Hoddle Street in Abbotsford and moving to our current location in Richmond in 2006. Richmond Auto Service Centre was established on the basis of providing a quality, highly personalised, honest approach to vehicle servicing and repairs.
Choosing a new mechanic can be a daunting task, which is why it is so refreshing when you find one that you can trust. You should feel comfortable when leaving your car with your mechanic and you shouldn't drive away with that surprised feeling after paying the invoice. I met mark and the team last week and they have saved my car after my last mechanic nearly ran it into the ground though neglectful services. They went the extra mile, bothered to call me and explain in great detail every process and cost involved before I spent anything. They also seem like they actually enjoy what they do and want to help their customer as much as they can. Happy I found these guys

Suffice to say, it is one of the best experiences I have had when it comes to car servicing.
The car in question needed just a simple oil & filter change, plus a full report on it's health to decide its fate. David & his team ran a fine tooth comb over the car from bumper to bumper, provided the information in a way that was easy to understand, with the costs for broken down for each job.
I will quite happily take any vehicle there for servicing & maintenance.
Truly a 5 star service that I will be recommending to anyone who will listen.

I've been going to these guys for seven or eight years across two cars. The service is always thorough, professional, and communicative. I dropped my xr5 off to them on monday for a service, and despite the fact it needed a new timer belt, and that they were booked solid, they kept it on their lot until the new part arrived. It rolled out of their location with the engine purring like a kitten, the transmission snappy and responsive, and with a sparkling clean. Can't overstate how good this shop is.

I dealt with Mark mostly, who was happy to help coordinate with me and my partner. We had struggled to find a mechanic on short notice who could assist with some repairs for a Roadworthy Certificate. Well, Mark was an absolute gem. He was able to explain the issues with the car as he saw it, and was able to provide an extremely accurate quote with limited information. He reminded me of my mechanic brother!

I have an older car and I was really worried about how they would go but the people I spoke to were really upfront, and great to talk to. They asked me what I wanted/needed done and any issues I knew about the car. They were extemely fair and helpful, and while it was maybe a little more expensive, it was really good value in the fact that they did a lot of little extra bits and pieces. I was really impressed and happy with the service I got

Scott and the team did an awesome job with my old Volkswagen Jetta. They're communication is great, they gave an honest breakdown of the work that needed to be done and listed fair prices. They then let you decide exactly what work gets done before they get started. I dropped it in on a Friday afternoon and it was ready to go the next Monday morning. It's taken a while but I've finally found my regular mechanics going forward.
