Perfect place to stay if you are visiting Urbnsurf (surfing wave pool) , which is directly opposite. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable and well serviced and very reasonably priced. Can’t speak highly enough of the food in bistro. All dishes are well presented, big servings and at a low price. Best restaurant that I ever have come across in a 3 to 4 star hotel/motel!

The person I spoke to on the phone was extremely aggressive and borderline antagonising. This hotel advised that they wouldn’t accept international arrivals because “they’re not approved” as an isolation hotel (such “approval doesn’t even exist) and “they would know” if someone travelled internationally. There is no such government requirement and the condescension and rudeness I experienced was disgusting. Avoid at all costs.

Youre information is wrong regarding the police involvement.
I know this as I contacted a government organisation for emergency relief regarding domestic issues and they said any accommodation is allowed to take any person without involving police. One thing staff need to consider when dealing with issues like this is the compassion and understanding needed for these situations. Thankfully I was not someone who was on their last legs and with no where to go and after the cold conversation with reception decided

So I was stuck in Melbourne for an entire day while I waited on my next flight. Just minutes from the airport and with free transportation, this airport hotel was the perfect lodging for my layover.My room was quite comfortable with a Jacuzzi tub, cable, and a luxurious mattress; after backpacking throughout Indonesia, all of this was a dream come true.
Other amenities that made this hotel a winner included a very nice sports pub and an indoor pool that had some amazing lighting at night. The hotel's restaurant also had one of the best buffets I had seen in ages. It was a seafood bonanza
