Our hydrotherapy pool is exclusively available to our patients to assist with their recovery. Headaches and migraines can caused by caused not only by dysfunction in the neck region but also by physical and emotional stress and tension. At Hawkesbury Physiotherapy we believe that it is important to prepare you mentally as well as physically for surgery.
Our facilities include a purpose built hydrotherapy pool at the Windsor clinic plus gym equipment, showers and change room at both venues. Services
Hawkesbury Physiotherapy has been established in the Hawkesbury district since 1986 providing quality physiotherapy. Initially involving one practitioner, we have grown to 6 physiotherapists and six support staff. We have developed a purpose built premises containing clinical areas, gymnasiums and an indoor hydrotherapy pool heated to 34 degrees.
A medical referral is not required to see a Physiotherapist unless you are claiming through Worker's Compensation, Third Party or Veteran's Affairs. DVA Health Cards (Gold and White) are accepted as payment upon a GP referral. Traditionally Medicare has not covered Allied Health Service including Physiotherapy.
Colin has 34 years' experience as a physiotherapist and founded Hawkesbury Physiotherapy in 1986. He graduated from The University of Sydney in 1980. In 1984 he completed a Post Graduate year in Manipulative Therapy. Colin is a titled member of the Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Association of Australia.
