If a person dies without having a legally binding will, the estate would be distributed in accordance with a government formula.
Rotman & Morris has an established commercial law practice. In particular, we have assisted many clients with purchasing or selling businesses, including the drafting of contractual documentation, incorporating restraint of trade provisions into agreements and terms of trade, and ensuring a smooth transition for purchasers including the transfer of business names, registration and other adjustments required for settlement.
Rotman & Morris has an established litigation practice, having expertise in Federal, Supreme, County and Magistrates Court matters in addition to disputes at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) and the Victorian Small Business Commissioner (VSBC). We also undertake a large amount of debt collection work for matters ranging from minor debts to major debt recovery work.
