In 2002 Peter and Debbie Gardiner travelled around Australia with their four children, Peter's mother and their dog in tow, looking for the perfect motel to buy. It's no great surprise that a motel set on a large, landscaped garden area with a premier golf club on one side and a beach on the other, just up the road from Merimbula airport and centrally located between the bustling centres of Merimbula and Pambula, took their fancy.
Our four-star Deluxe Rooms are designed for corporate travellers, couples and families, and are able to sleep 4-5 people. With modern facilities and kitchenettes, they are larger than your average motel room with light-filled open plan living with a couch, dining table. Very pricey for single night stay we had for family. We paid $319. I am sure there will be better option after I found so many options in Merimbula. I would recommend to stay in Merimbula as it’s place where you will find all fun, amenities and food.
Room was ok, wasn’t cleaned properly. Seems needs pest control as we found cockroach behind shower gel holder in bathroom. Also found dead inspects behind bed where bed head was.
Not happy with stay as I am sure there are better options in this price.

The front desk is very cold as if we were the poor relatives come to her house staying for free. Don’t be misled by the Facebook likes and tags - this hotel pays for those likes and mentions. I also wonder why there were only 31 reviews on Expedia/Hotels, at least my own review link has been voided before I could write a review.
There are plenty accommodations in Merimbula, so DO NOT book here.
I reckon you would be better off comping under stars if everywhere else is full.

If you were looking for a place just like Fawlty Towers with a little bit of Kath and Kim. The room looked nothing like the images and $230 a night for a room that smelt like a cupboard in an op shop. Breakfast came with bags labelled toast with the toast in it. More than an observation than a criticism, but still a little odd. Advertised to have satellite tv but didn’t have it. Even had to pay to use the gas barbecue, though the tennis court was nice but outdated.
