The room was comfortable, balcony was great, until verbally abused by owner screaming at us for smoking. (We were the only ones on the balcony).
He was on the ground car park and we were one floor up, and he was yelling at us from below the abuse was so uncalled for, professional conduct towards guests is the up most importance, he could have quite easily came to our room to let us know that this motel does not allow smoking on balcony or ring us, oh no he couldn't ring us no phone in the room!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A SMOKER. we were informed smoking area was in driveway

Very good value motel with very friendly, responsive managers.
We had the unfortunate experience of needing to evacuate during the recent fires. Pelican motor inn dropped their prices to pre season to make it more affordable for all the evacuees staying with them.
They kept us as informed as they could during the emergency. They let us know of the need to conserve water and power, as the bushfires had an impact on town resources.
When it was possible they allowed us to move to a family room. This room had 3 beds, to accomodate up to 4 people. The room came with a full size fridge, microwave

Great, friendly service. Nothing was any trouble.. Rooms exceptionally clean and tidy. Shower water pressure awesome!
We ended up arriving very late and the room was left unlocked and ready to go..and it was no hassle. Would definately stay here again. And would highly recommend the place to other's.
