Like you, we are passionate about the well-being of animals! We want pets and their owners to enjoy each others' company and experience the many benefits that flow from having a pet as an integral part of the family. A key aspect of this is ensuring that your pet is healthy and happy; and our wide range of veterinary services, all delivered in-house when required, are a major part of that process.
Our hugely experienced, highly-trained and ever-friendly team of vets and veterinary nurses offer a wide range of pet services at Normanhurst Vet Practice. As pet owners ourselves, each team member fully understands the feelings of anxiety - both in the pets and for their owners - and always offer a sympathetic environment during our professional consultations.

Like you, we are passionate about the well-being of animals; and we want pets and their owners to enjoy each other's company and gain many benefits through their relationship. A key aspect of this is ensuring that any pet is healthy and happy; and our wide range of veterinary services, all delivered in-house when required, are a major part of that process.
Having worked in hospitality for many years, in 2012 Michele decided it was time for a change in career. Having grown up with a wide range of animals Michele knew that one day she would work with animals. Since coming to Vet Nursing she has never looked back. Michele loves that we get to know your pets and have a hand in making them better when they are not well.
It is important that all pets are treated with a product/s that covers ALL types of intestinal worms (tapeworm, roundworm, hookworm, whipworm). How often you worm your pet depends on their age. In a puppy/kitten, they should be wormed every 2 weeks from birth until they are 12 weeks old. They should then be wormed monthly until they are 6 months old.
We know that many of our pet-owning clients like to purchase toys and playthings for their pets. As well as these fun purchases, there's always a need for grooming or pet products for transport. Many of these can often be difficult to find in standard shops and supermarkets; where you won't find much in the way of friendly advice or professional help.
The team here at family-owned Normanhurst Vet Practice appreciate that it's not always possible or practicable to bring your pet to our practice location when he or she is unwell or otherwise in need of diagnosis or treatment. You might not be able to leave your home for a host of reasons. Perhaps you work from home, or are busy looking after a young family.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Reliability, Responsiveness, Value
Very nice staff, noticeably responsible precautions regarding both animal and human safety taken by staff. Products are always good quality and value and staff are always willing to help customers with anything.
Plus the kittens they occasionally put up for adoption are adorable.

The staff at Normanhurst Vet Practice are caring, compassionate and professional.
The premises are clean and efficient.
I would recommend this practice without hesitation.
Gin Gin the cat needed immediate attention for an abcess on her leg, and this brave little cat was calling out in pain: she needed urgent attention.
I spoke with Michelle at reception and Gin Gin was treated by Dr Reinette.
After Gin Gin was treated, I was given very detailed instructions as to her care, and encouraged to send a progress photo of the wound in two days for monitoring.
I only wish that there were more stars

Here a hugely experienced, highly-trained and ever-friendly team of vets and veterinary nurses offer a wide range of pet services at the Normanhurst Road Veterinary Clinic. As pet owners, each team member fully understands the feelings of anxiety – both in the pets and for their owners – and always offer a sympathetic environment during our professional consultations.

Jaxxy and I are so happy with the service we received yesterday. The staff are so happy and friendly, and equally professional! We would give more stars if we could, Jaxxy was in quite a bit of pain and was suffering a skin irritation but once we had seen Stephanie at Normanhurst Vet , he knew he was on the mend! This photo was taken once we had returned home from the vet, his smile says it all- Super Happy Puppy! Thank you team.
