We do not have capacity for new child clients with Autism/ASD/ADHD. For children we have some Northgate clinic sessions and home home visits slots available on Brisbane Northside (up to Bald Hills/Albany Creek). We've talked about what he needs to do, and he understands, but just won't do it when he needs to.

Our adult and child psychologists offer home, workplace, school and child care visits around Brisbane Northside only (ie travel to serviced Brisbane Northside suburbs does not attract additional travel fees) - please look to see if your suburb is in the list of suburbs below. If it is not, we may be able to service your suburb, but additional travel costs will apply if you are located outside our standard service areas.

I tried to book someone for some sessions with my children to help deal with their challenging behaviour. I leave a msg with the receptionist with my phone no and details. I recover a text 10min later back saying sorry we can’t help you and please contact a different practice. I ring back and text back questioning this? No response. Very unprofessional practice especially when it takes a lot yorevonose that your family needs help and you take that step and receive such an unprofessional response. Do not recommend seeing these people.

Earlier this year my husband and I realised we needed some help with our soon to turn 8 year old son.
He was experiencing anxiety at school resulting in tears, but at home we were experiencing total defiance ending in outrageous arguements and fights. We were quite an unhappy family.
I started talking to friends about our situation and a friend recommended Changes Psychology.
I did some research and was especially keen on the idea of our psychologist coming to us, especially considering I had 2 younger children. I rang and made an appointment.
We have been having a psychologist visit our son

After phoning other Family Psychologists I was immediately reassured by my phone conversation with Steve. His appointment flexibility meant we could see him within the week and we all felt confident in his manner, professionalism, strategies and approach. We are implementing the advice and have a positive outlook moving forward.
