Relationships are central to our experience of the world we live in with others. They can be fulfilling, nurturing & promote growth, development and happiness. Where mental health issues exist, invariably these have the ability to impact our relationships in challenging ways. Depression is a common though serious condition that can affect both mental and physical health.
There are different types of depression with varying symptoms that can fluctuate in their intensity and frequency. Anxiety helps to protect us from danger as well as ensuring that we do what's necessary to cope with our day to day obligations. Without anxiety, we would lack the internal drive to do a lot of things necessary for both surviving and thriving.
