I had a great 2 night stay at PK's. The facilities were clean considering you're in the middle of the Daintree. The food they served for Dinner was tip top. Props to Scotty in the kitchen. Bloody great Pepperoni pizza. The Bar was also good. I do recommend Pk's if you are looking for a cabin in the Daintree. I'll be back there that's for sure.

The PK spot is great and has a wonderful walk onto the beach from the back of the village. However the rooms had no working aircon, the power went out 5 times in 3 days & the owner went through all of mine and my crew’s bags and took our alcohol after being told we are aloud to have it in our rooms but not in the licenses area which we followed, the owner has no respect for people’s personal space or belongings.
The spot is magical but the owner is like the grinch that comes to ruin everything!
Good luck to her in the future.

We booked a family cabin with ensuite for two nights. We turned up there to be told there was an event happening. This turned out to be a Rave as informed by another guest who asked if we knew about it and should have been told prior because we had young kids and not good for them to see (as you can imagine what happens at raves). We also arrived just before 4pm with our room not ready as they had to move people who were currently in it somewhere else and then needed to be cleaned. It took an hour for room to be ready. Once we went in to room the sheets had stains and fridge dirty to point couldnt

Stayed for 2 nights Had to pay for a min 3 night stay as well.. all staff where all unhelpful and slow Behide the bar
Bunk beds where broken and missing slat causing the bed mattress to be un even and fall down on either end.
Owner and most staff rude with no privacy having the owner coming into our room and other rooms and taking our drinks out of our fridge. Saying we can’t drink in our own room that we paid for.
That night lost power no aircon for 2 hours
Next day resort lost power for 3 ish hours no music or back up generator on a New Years event you think they would be more organised

Lost power 5 times over 2 days with management leaving guests to fix it themselves. No water to the room for the whole afternoon/evening. Couldn't fill a water bottle or use the shower. No chairs in the room you can sit on the bed or the floor. Bathrooms covered in hair and beds full of sand. Found rubbish from previous guests under the bed. Roof leaked when it rained. No masks worn by anyone or check in codes for covid tracking anywhere. Wasn't allowed in bar to buy drinks without buying 80 dollar tickets to an event that unvaxxinated DJs were playing music in the food service area.

Food was good, service was a mess. We were given lots of wrong information by staff, lucky the chef was so amazing and came out with some extra chips to smooth it all over! Would definitely recommend more staff training..

Nice place for a drink. Food very average. Not sure anything is cooked from fresh all Frozen, which was a dissapointment. Beef Burger was the highlight, but wouldn't be rushing back for it with so many other options.

Room is expensive, $180 a night for 2 single beds in a Donga with a struggling box aircon. Drinks were not bad, flat coke and soda - drinks were replaced. Pepperoni pizza was edible but the seafood pizza was horrible, small canned dry seafood. On the upside most staff are lovely.

I camped at PK's with my wife and two children recently. We all really loved it. The kids loved swimming in the pool and playing pool in the bar. You can walk along the beach from the site and there's a nice boardwalk you can do too. They had some brilliant live music on the weekend - we all loved listening to Ben Jansz while we were there. You can also take trips out to the reef from just outside the campsite. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We ate in the bar a few times and the food was great. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

PKs Jungle Village is about to reopen on the 1st of July 2021. They had a soft opening in the bistro and bar for the state of origin game, with two big screen TV’s which ensured the excited NRL fans all got a… good seat, it seemed to be a full house and the atmosphere was electric. The meals were a good size and delicious, the bar has a good selection of bottled beverages as well as beers and ciders on tap. The music was pumping long after the game had finished, there is a decent dance floor and good lighting, beyond this the open and airy venue opens up to a large outdoor balcony
