It was difficult to give a rating of my Insurance claim due to the fact that the initial handling was through Crawford Restoring and enhancing lives, businesses and communities, which I understand were acting on behalf of CHU.
After submitting my claim and supporting documents to Crawford, I found the process and communication with the Crawford agent nothing less than a disaster and extremely frustrating. After a number of emails, texts and phone calls I was advised that the original contact had left my 'case' in limbo!! To this point if I was I asked for a rating I would have given it a MINUS

I called to enquire about contents insurance. After being bounced around several times I finally reached the right department. While the representative answered my questions, their manner was abrupt and at times came across as condescending. When I tried to clarify my understanding of some of the wording in the PDS they became almost defensive and suggested that in future I could just look it up in the PDS, implying "rather than bother me".

Worst insurance ever. They do not even have the brains to pass on policy documents. The amount of emails and phone cals, you wouldnt beleive. The manager in Syd even lied about privacy regarding other body corp members. Inregards to giving me policy documents from another year. But told me to get them off the website. I told him that only the current one was there. Yes I had to tell him. Pathetic. If I could have given them a 0 I would have.
