Getting a life insurance upgrade through super is very inconvenient, the TAL process is very difficult and the employees are not compassionate. It is very stressful to go through their process or even with speaking to their team. Terrible experience.

So I’m going to write this again
If you want your blood pressure to hit the roof I wouldn’t recommend TAL they think there medical practitioners the worst insurance company ever don’t fall for there traps they also questioned my medical practitioners with an authority form back dated over a year they will do anything they can not to pay a claim I recommend that tal shut the shop close those doors you know exactly who it is and if the owner has concern about my review call me yourself Daniel Martino STOP DELETING MY REVIEW your

In the process of getting a quote. Got an online quote followed by a phone call from Tal. After a 30 minutes phone conversation, the operator tells me he can't proceed without knowing my cholesterol level, I didn't have the number and said can provide in a couple of days. He couldn't proceed and he couldn't save the information for later and it has been a complete waste of time.

This is not a business you want to support you in a stressful time or when you need a claim on a policy that you have paid in good faith. This is a business that will go out of their way to get out of paying a claim. Their internal dispute resolution team is hopeless and the information that they provide is full of holes and in fact incorrect. I worry about my children if something happens to me and they are relying on being paid out for my policy. I am looking elsewhere

Would give no stars if I could. Cancelled my policy because I don't need it anymore and I am entitled to a refund of some of my fees because I paid for the full year. 3 long phone calls to TAL and 6 weeks later and I am still waiting. I don't usually leave negative reviews but I am frustrated that they are wasting my time with something that should not be a complicated issue.

I recently had to make a call to TAL Funeral Plan to advise the death of my mother - the customer service operator was so lovely and the whole process of making a claim was so easy and uncomplicated. Then to my utter surprise 24 hours after lodging the claim I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from Insurance Line (TAL).
I'm not sure if this is their usual practice but I am grateful for their thoughtfulness and I am so impressed, I will most certainly reach out to the company for a quote when my insurances come up for renewal.
