Adam first joined Maroubra Veterinary Hospital in 1991 and bought the practice in 1996 building it to be one of the most highly respected practices in the Eastern Suburbs. Adam, our Principal Veterinarian and practice owner, graduated from the University of Sydney in 1990 with Honours. He subsequently completed a Masters Degree in Veterinary Studies from Murdoch University in 2002.
He has also completed further studies in orthopaedic surgery, cruciate ligament surgery, diagnostic ultrasound and advanced echocardiography. Adam has a passion for surgery as well as diagnosis and treatment of complex medical problems. He also enjoys performing diagnostic ultrasound including echocardiography and cardiology.

Services
Please note that our Puppy Pre-School is now back open and will be practising the Government restrictions on social distancing. Our Puppy Pre-schools are for vaccinated puppies aged from 8 weeks up to 16 weeks. Our classes have a maximum of 5 puppies per class and run for an hour over 5 weeks on site.

Charges me 1030$ for one day of tests. Only a few hours and some medication....then asked for another 1300$ when they already Did the tests they wanted another 1300 to do more checks.
Just brought my dog to green cross vet's highly recommend as they only charged me 700$ for the surgery and medicine and ultrasound
Don't go to to maroubra vet's they cheat you and only care about Money

Friendly staff. went there twice, but my cat's condition didn't get improved. I should have phoned for consultation price before I went. it was twice expensive than other vet in the area.
updating on 8/9/2021: after I post above review I was contacted by the business accusing my review is "absolutely false" and requesting me remove it within 48 hours or they will "seek legal advice regarding the defamatory imputations in our review". I then told them how much I was charged on my first vist and how much other vet charged. they then claiming the fee was "urgent consultation fee" which I wasn't told

I strongly recommend this clinic! James is such a good professional! He looked after my Fiona (cat) many times since I adopted her. He is kind and always ready to help and answer our (thousand) questions. All the staff is friendly and they professionally remind us about the vaccines and procedures we need to do in order to keep our pets healthy.

I actually live out of the area, but due to the exceptional experience, knowledge and professionalism from Dr Adam, I make the trip to this vet when I need super attention for my furbies. I know I can trust him to look after my babies and care for them the way I do. I 110% recommend Maroubra Veterinary Hospital, the staff and Dr Adam Gordon.

This vet clinic is the best in Sydney!! They have highly trained professionals who you can tell care for every animal and owner who comes into their clinic.
My dog is very snappy and usually is fussy when at the vet or going for grooming. The Vet who treated my pup was very kind, cautious and understanding. They gave my pup the best treatment possible and were so reliable!! I will be returning here they are all so reliable and friendly. Why would I go anywhere else!!?

It’s with a heavy heart that we said goodbye to our beloved Foxy on Saturday 20/02/2020 He was 15. Adam, Justine and the team have cared for this little man since he was a pup. We really can’t thank you enough… for all the care and attention you gave Foxy especially in the last 18 mths with congestive heart failure. You never gave up on him and neither did we, but on Saturday he simply wanted to rest. Anna-Belle was absolutely wonderful in our darkest hour, such compassion and care. This vet practice has looked after all 3 of our dogs since 2004. They are without doubt, the best

Honestly the best veterinary hospital! My little fluff ball has been coming here since she was 8 weeks old (she nearly 2) and every time she comes here she’s relaxed and totally at ease. The free claw clipping service is an added bonus. Thank you for always looking after Branca de Neve with so much care:-)

We are so happy to have our gorgeous little Louis back home after over 3 weeks at Maroubra Vet Hospital. Thanks to our supervet Adam Gordon who saved Louis after a terrible accident. If it was not for his… amazing skill and expertise Louis would not have survived. We are forever grateful to Adam and the dedicated team for their around the clock care of him,especially over Christmas. We still have a long way to go but Louis lives to meow another day!
