Fast forward 10 years and an opportunity presented itself that would see one brother leave to move north and the youngest brother of the family start his apprenticeship. In 2013 "Thornton mechanical repairs" moved east down Glenwood Drive to double its premises foot print to deal with the growth in the area which was short lived as by 2015 we had outgrown the new building and moved across the road doubling the building size again.
The Service Centre believes that we can have an impact on this world greater than just fixing cars by giving back through our everyday business activities. Every time a car is serviced at any of our facilities it has an impact both in Australia and overseas for people in need. We believe that by changing someone's world we are in fact changing the world.

The Service Centre's process is different from other workshops. You will notice the difference in our customer service and your entire experience with us. When you book in, we will simply ask the basic information; your name, phone number, the registration number of the car, what needs to be done and when suits you to do it.

Always friendly and professional, I’m glad I chose this mechanic after moving to the area. Really helped me out the other day when I had an urgent battery problem, and the guys were willing to discuss the problem with me which I really appreciated.
