Spark for Life was founded in Perth in 2016 by Carla Crossman (Educational and developmental Psychologist and Psychology supervisor) before she moved the practice to Canberra in 2018 and expanded into the new practice in Isaacs in 2021. You'll find more about Carla and out vision on the about page.

Spark for Life psychology offers counselling for children, adolescents, young adults and parents with Educational and Developmental Psychologist Carla. Carla is an Educational and Developmental Psychologist with over 15 years experience working with young people. She is passionate about helping young people increase their well-being and resilience.
Spark for Life psychology offers parents support for a range of concerns and difficulties with Educational and Developmental Psychologist Carla. Carla has expertise assisting with a range of interpersonal, behavioural, developmental and emotional challenges. Parent Support services are also available either in home or through Telehealth via online services in Coviu.
Spark for Life psychology provides psycho-educational assessment for children, adolescents, and young adults with Educational and Developmental Psychologist Carla. Assessments can be conducted for a range of difficulties including for the purposes of diagnosing:. Specific Learning Difficulties; more commonly known as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia and Dyscalculia.
Spark for Life psychology offers presentations, groups and workshops on mental health, well-being, development and behaviour by Educational and Developmental Psychologist Carla. Lego Club - Social skills for kids through Lego, suitable for children with difficulty in interacting with peers, managing peer conflict and difficulty regulating their emotions during peer interactions.
SPARK!Jnr Groups are designed to help children from a young age learn about their thoughts, feelings and actions in order to build resilience, gain confidence, and be able to handle life's ups and downs all in a fun, safe and interactive group environment. These groups are based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT).
