We offer psychological assessment and counselling for children, adolescents, parents and families. Some areas we provide assistance with include; anxiety, depression, self-esteem, parenting, relationship counselling, postnatal depression, and separated and blended families. Diagnostic dyslexia assessments, ADHD assessments, gifted assessments, and intellectual assessments to develop insight into underlying strengths and struggles.

Services
We are located at the quiet end of Subiaco in Western Australia. Our clinic space creates a warm atmosphere for families seeking psychological assistance. There is a dedicated room for child psychometric assessments which is bright and engaging. The rooms devoted to psychotherapy are calm and private for individual, family, or group counselling sessions.
Karen King was first registered as a Psychologist in 2004 and has enjoyed a diverse career working with individuals in multi-national corporate organisations, mothers and their infants in a private hospital, children and adolescents at a not-for profit community foundation, and children and their families in a private clinic.
Dr Jenny Sandilands was first registered as a Psychologist in 2010 and has worked predominantly with children, adolescents and their families. Jenny holds a Doctorate of Psychology (Clinical) which involved seven years of university study. While studying, Jenny also worked with Sports Challenge Australia, a Perth-based company which delivers mentoring programs to children and adolescents.
Rhianna is a Registered Psychologist experienced in both assessment and intervention for a wide variety of psychological presentations. She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families across a range of settings including community mental health, private sector, government and university health organisations.
Early Start Australia | WA | Subiaco offers counselling for children, adolescents, couples and families. Our psychologists have expertise assisting with a range of interpersonal, behavioural and emotional challenges. As we operate from a family therapy perspective, all relevant family members are included in the therapeutic process.
