Our transparent, competitive pricing is here to guide you on your way to experiencing Harlequin Hair as your go-to for all your Curly Hair & Colour Needs. Our Curly Hair Cuts are not cut the "traditional" way. We cut curly hair without a comb and via either curl by curl or techniques taught by Purely Curls & open to all types of Curl Methods.
Our Reviews are by REAL clients that have visited the salon. After a service the client receives an email with a review link. That's why we don't encourage Google or Facebook reviews as many businesses get friends, family and even pay for reviews or pay to be marketed as "Brisbane's Best". Our reviews speak for themselves, the sharing of experience is far greater than the sharing of photographs.
This is due to when we cut, we cut your curls dry, so it could be that your curls on one side are tighter than the other or looser on one side. But hopefully when your curls are dry they are pretty even. Our main requirement is that your hair is down and isn't or has been in a hair tie. This is so we can see your natural hair fall and curls.
I thought I would shoot off an email due to the lockdown. As you may all be aware we are closed at the moment and have hopefully contacted all that have been booked in this week. If we have missed you please call us on the salon mobile or via email. I have been receiving lately emails from our wonderful clients about their whereabouts of their parcels that they paid for.

I had my first cut with Steve this week and I can’t remember the last time I was so happy with a haircut or received so many compliments from people after a haircut. I also followed his advice about how to look after it at home, and I’m so happy with the results!

I've been seeing Steve since moving to Moorooka 10 years ago. I'd always seen my thick, wavy hair as being a bit 'difficult' and unruly. Steve not only does an amazing job with it but takes the time to help me learn about different hair care products that will suit my hair. He is also an absolute gem of a person and it is increasingly hard to get an appointment with him for good reason!

I had to wait six weeks for my first ever ‘Curly hair specialist’ appointment and it was so worth it. Steve is exceptional, patient, calm, listens carefully and understands. My hair: patchy grey, growing out hair dye, curly, and I did not want to have the full colour up-keep. Steve found a solution that suited me and I was introduced to products that work! The end result… was WOW! Very happy and thank you so much, Steve.

Steve was wonderful for my little boy's first ever curly hair haircut. Patient, kind and engaged my 3 yo son who also received a first haircut certificate and stickers which he was so excited about.
