My first experience with this salon was in fortitude valley in Brisbane. I wanted balayage and spent $360 and it really didn’t look good. After a while of purple shampoo and masks I went back again and spent… $170 to get a cut and toner. It was a discount and apparently was meant to be over $200.
I’m still really not happy with my results and after the amount of money I have spent on it I would of expected better results. I understand, going lighter from dark hair is a process but should it really cost that much to STILL not be happy and just be told I just need to keep toning

My appointment at Springfield Lakes got cancelled due to a hairdresser being unwell. They then rebooked my appointment with the Jindalee salon. It was an okay experience, I got talking and they served me a… coffee. The hairdresser that was doing my hair was doing other hair. She told me she would check on my foils in 20 minutes and it was 45 minutes later. She then got the apprentice to take out my foils and give me hair a wash which i am fine about. She mixed up my toner and left the apprentice to time and wash the toner out. Not once did they come over to check. The toner was left in for

I went to the Hope Island Salon. I was on holidays and had enough of my shoulder length medium brown colour and wanted to go back to being blonde. I called to make appt and was advised that they are very good at doing blonde colours. When I arrived, I was told we should be finished in 4hrs. However, after washing and toning my hair was so white and… had orange bits in it. It was hideous. The hairdresser tried to fix it but even when I left, my hair still had orange bits and she said herself that she "didn't realise it would go so blonde". They charged $330 and it ended up taking almost 6hrs

The team at Epic are amazing. My appointment was one hour after a snap lockdown had been announced and they were operating calmly and professionally, despite what must have been a challenging afternoon. The salon was spotlessly clean and they were attending to all the clients with care and diligence. And to top it off, my blow dry was amazing as well. A great all-round experience.

I was recommended to go to Epic hair , After messaging And asking if the Hope Island salon did perms , I was told they did and was booked in for a consultation, I went to my consultation, she looked at my hair… , we looked at pictures of type of perm and Ang checked to make sure she had the correct solution in stock. All was good and we booked my appointment for the following week , the price was hefty to say the least but I thought u get what u pay for and I was told they were a great chain of salons. on the morning 1.5 hours before my appointment I was called to say my stylist was off

I had thin hair, about shoulder length, and went in to cut a few cms off the ends. The shop is clean and the music is not too loud. I got the haircut I asked for and the price was great compared to other places (55 dollars). However, I'm holding back a star because the stylist was not particularly gentle when handling my hair, and at times stopped cutting for a few seconds to stare into space. She wasn't rude in any way, but her demenour gave me the impression that she was quite bored. But I would recommend the salon to anyone just looking for a quick touch up at a reasonable cost.

Was looking for a new hairdresser, as I never seemed to be satisfied when I walk out of a salon. My choices were limited as I found not a lot of places were open on a Monday, but I called and they were happy to fit me in.
My stylists name was Maddison. She did an excellent job with my hair. I walked out happy and will definitely be back.

I used to go to a barber shop for YEARS getting the same cut over and over again. I've now switched to epic and they're awesome!
I one day decided that my hair style needed a change and that the barber shop just wouldn't cut it anymore (pun intended haha) and that I needed a proper stylist. So picture of what style I was aspiring to in hand I stopped in epic.
I think I've had a cut from almost all the staff haha but now stick with Jo or Mel, they're fantastic, give you excellent cuts and are very friendly. Mel is my latest stylist and been booking in with her for the

I am a little bit ashamed to say that it has been more than a year since I had my hair cut professionally. Normally, I just get sick of it and hack at my fringe with a blunt pair of scissors or get a friend to try and cut it. Unfortunately, my lack of hairdressing prowess means that in the end my hair was looking a little bit scraggly and worse for wear. I decided to get professional help this time, and, after recently moving to Newmarket, thought I would give Epic Hair Designs a go. After all, any place that claims to be epic must be good.
