Services
At Pacific International Taekwondo our goal is to provide classes that develop fitness and defense skills in a way that's enjoyable and inspirational. Pacific International Taekwondo co-founders Grandmaster Trevor Dicks and Master Instructor Margaret Dicks began Taekwondo training in 1972 with the UKTA, under the guidance of Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha.
We are in the business of teaching life skills - enabling young children to grow up as mature and responsible adults. Self-esteem - self-confidence will grow as they become more in tune with the program and get used to interacting with new friends. Self-discipline - this is a natural part of martial arts and particularly the Art of Taekwondo.
Teens Martial Arts - Brisbane: At Pacific International Taekwondo, we're strong believers that martial arts offers excellent benefits for both boys and girls during their teen years. Taekwondo classes for teens are designed to help develop life-skills, increase fitness and learn practical self-defence techniques that they can use in threatening real-world situations.
At Pacific International Taekwondo, our adult classes are tailored specifically to more mature students. These classes teach self-defence, promote good conditioning and stretching techniques and build confidence and strength. Our adult classes cater to all levels- from beginners right through to black belt and beyond.
We get many adults from all walks of life coming to our adult Taekwondo classes. While a certain level of fitness is important if you want to get the most out of this amazing martial art, everyone starts from a different base. Your first Taekwondo class is about learning a few basic moves rather than a full-on exercise class.
