Dr Sandra has extensive experience in Emergency work and is very knowledgeable about complex case management in older pets. She is our 'go to' person for birds and wildlife and continues to build on her experience.
Owner of Veterinary Specialists of Sydney, Dr Andrew Levien is a board certified specialist in small animal surgery. His career has taken him to the UK, USA, and back to his home country of Australia. Versed in all complex orthopaedic, neurosurgical, soft tissue, and interventional radiologic procedures, Dr Andrew has a keen interest in cruciate repair, fracture repair, and joint replacement, and a true appreciation for knees and elbows!
Enjoy the peace of mind of optimum health care and when it's time for flea, tick, intestinal worm or heartworm treatment, we'll send them to your door! Annual vaccinations and health checks are an important part of your pet's health care regime. These provide an opportunity for our vets to assess your pet's current health and answer any queries that you might have.
Our two Newfoundlands have been superbly cared for by vet Sandra. She is exceptionally thorough and keeps up to date with the latest information about giant dogs. She always makes herself available for additional questions that we remember when we get home. Our dogs both love her and cannot wait to jump out of the car when we pull up in Summer Hill.

I recently moved to Summer Hill and have been nothing but delighted by my new local vet. The staff are always polite and honest about necessary treatment. I have been provided with their personalised photo magnets with attached notes for me to write and keep track of all of their appointments. I even recieved a personal welcome card. These touches are lovely. My pugs Bonnie and Digby even try to walk inside on our morning walks so they certainly love the team!

What an amazing practise. Our precious chewy has been a member of the summer hill vet family since he was a puppy 4 years ago and this weekend he has been a poorly boy.
