Place is clean and organised 👍
Although Had abit of a strange experience here. Called and asked if they had some canned cat food .
Lady said yes and she would put them aside.
Got there and it was dry food, I said I was after the canned food .
She said I never specified
Then tried to book my pet in for a check up. She booked me in but didn’t tell me the time she had until the end of the questionair. I said I couldn’t do that time unfortunately. And said next time just say the times you have available. She said “ I did” quite loudly .. she hadn’t at all??
I then said to here calmly

I cannot fault the service and medical care of Balmain Veterinary Hospital.
We've been bringing our dog here since she was a puppy and they've always really looked after her. I can also highly recommend the puppy school here as well!
Our dog injured her leg and she required an X-ray and then surgery. The level of care, compassion and understanding by all staff has been outstanding.
They explain everything thoroughly in an easy to understand manner and they are up-front with medical options, costs and timelines. They're also accommodating if appointment times need changing or if you require and

I recently moved to Rozelle with me 2.5 year old Aussie Shepherd and was recommended this vet. Every experience I have had has been terrific. The staff are very experienced, informative, personable and you can tell are passionate about their job and taking care of your pet. Very impressed.

Great service. Arrived close to closing time but not an issue. My puppy was seen too straight away and her sock swallowing saga was quickly solved!

All the staff are so kind,professional & caring. The vets are all excellent and I wouldn't take my little Bijou ( Maltese.x ) anywhere else. 🐾🐕

The absolute professionalism of all staff at Balmain Vet is 5 star. The Vets have extensive knowledge & experience and a grounded approach to care which is worth its weight in gold when you find that at vet practice. Vet nurses are super loving & caring.

My Daughter Bonnie a border collie cross was an anti-vaxer until she caught parvovirus. With thanks to these wonderful vets she’s happy-go-lucky party girl again.

After years of hearing my doggie clients sing the praises of Balmain Veterinary practice, I decided to move my dog Frankie over to their care. Jason became Frank's new vet and I was very happy and impressed with his skills and care. He was more than willing to communicate openly and discuss options re the best care for my old boy. I was devastated when Covid came to town and I was forced to move to a regional area and if it wasn't for all the lockdowns and travel restrictions I would continue to bring my dog to Sydney so Jason could continue with his care. I cannot recommend this Veterinary practice

Brought my cat Salem in yesterday morning and had a wonderful experience at this vet. As soon as i called, the receptionist was able to fit me in immediately. The staff here are helpful, friendly and reassuring. Vet Amy was an absolute gem! She gave my boy a complete look over, checked all his vitals and gave me so much valuable information and advice. She was great and keeping Salem calm (the vet is his least favourite place, and even getting his temperature checked was fine), she talked me through everything she was doing and was so great! I was given all the medication he needs with instructions

I had to say goodbye to my beloved 16 year old cat who was in his final stages of advanced kidney disease yesterday.
A big thank you goes out to Dr Nathan for his professionalism, genuine care and compassion towards my boy, Aspro and I. He treated Aspro with the care and dignity he deserved.
Over the years, Dr Nathan, Dr Jason and the team at Balmain vets have taken great care of Aspro and our other cats and have always been helpful and supportive.

We visited Balmain Vet Hospital for the first time to have our puppy desexed as they had been recommended to us by our neighbours. Phoebe had some stress in the night post her surgery and when I called the next… morning they suggested to leave her in their care for the day to monitor her, all at no extra cost. I can not speak highly enough of the quality care and professional service from the many team members who assisted us including Dr Angela, Hannah, Josh, and others all who were so kind and patient with a very anxious puppy mum! Thank you all - we will be back for all of our pet needs

I can’t put to words how wonderful this Vet Clinic is.
After recently losing a family member, we were left with an elderly sick cat.
Jamie and Stephanie were exceptional, compassionate and so very caring.

Balmain Vets is absolutely the best practice, we have experienced in Australia. They have looked after our beautiful geriatric Border Collie, (Bella) for a number of years. At all times listening to our concerns and providing, considered advice and care plan choices. We are very grateful for the service they have provided. Highly recommended.

Have been visiting Balmain Vet for years and always received great service and advice about our menagerie.
Today, I had a calendar mishap and arrived a day early for my appointment at 9am however the wonderful reception staff were able to re-book us a day early to prevent us having to come back again 🙏
Danielle was wonderful and super patient with 'Lola the Dalmatian' who is absolutely petrified of the vets office. Would definitely recommend.

They saw my new puppy straight away, with great service and lovely vets who were very reassuring.
