Annandale Animal Hospital was established in 1992 as a single person vet practice. Growth and demand have been strong and the hospital is now staffed by 5 vets, 9 nurses, 3 kennel hands and two vet students. Annandale Animal Hospital offers preventative, diagnostic, surgical and emergency services.
We are committed to continuing education, and are constantly updating our techniques and equipment in order to provide you with the most recent advice and treatments. We are open 7 days a week for your convenience and are one of the few veterinary practices in the Inner West to have live-in staff. If your animal has to be hospitalised overnight, our vet students will provide constant overnight monitoring and care if required.

Services
At Annandale Animal Hospital we appreciate that the first few weeks with a puppy can be challenging. These early weeks are also a critical window of opportunity when puppies need to be exposed to new experiences in a supportive way to reduce the risk of developing anxiety or aggression in later life.
We provide a Pet Adoption service for kittens and adult cats; we regularly have a number of kittens and older cats who require a new home. Some of these animals may have been rescued, surrendered or even abandoned with us, and are desperate to find a loving new home. In return, they will show you their appreciation by giving you lots of love back!
With the new additional consult room it allows the opportunity for our trained, experienced and friendly nurses to assist in alleviating waiting times. These consults will be available to book Monday to Friday between the hours of 10am and 1pm. At Annandale Animal Hospital, we know how important it is to prevent issues before they happen.

Gail is an excellent nutritionist, food allergy expert and always goes that extra mile to ensure that you leave her feeling more positive. I have been seeing Gail twice a year for the past 4 years and know that my health is greatly improved due her knowledge and expertise. I would highly recommend Gail if want to get to the bottom of what foods are making you ill.
