Services
Mind Matters psychology practice was born of a desire to depart from what we have all come to expect when we think of a traditional psychology clinic. A far cry from a sterile health practice, Mind Matters offers a warm, holistic wellness experience to help its visitors deal with life's many complexities and challenges.
We understand that no two people and no two mental health experiences are the same. We utilise a number of evidence-based therapies to best combat a range of issues including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), schema therapy, solution focused therapy, family systems therapy and mindfulness.
At Mind Matters you have the option of speaking to your psychologist in-person, via video-call or through the telephone. Please notify our lovely team at reception if you would like a video link sent to you. It's completely normal to feel nervous before speaking to a psychologist, especially if it's a new experience, but with our gentle approach we hope to quickly show you that there is nothing to worry about.
Refer to individual psychologist profiles to view our fees. An additional $20 is applicable for appointments after 5pm and on Saturdays. Payments are due at the time of your appointment via eftpos, direct debit or credit card (excluding AMEX). Please speak to your GP or to our friendly staff to determine if you are eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan.
