Join us for Tapas night and a full alacarte menu on Fridays and Saturdays! We have a new menu every week, perfect for events and family gatherings. We have our liquior license too, so alcohol is available including tap beer, bottled beer, wines and a range of spirits too! We've also have a range of fancy cocktails for you to enjoy.

I loved it.
I never had the chance to go there when it was in Surry Hills but when I realised they moved to Paddington I couldn't wait to go.
Food is exceptional. The Spaghetti Carbonara must be always ordered.
The tiramisu is delicious and a big portion.
The atmosphere in their new place is great and the staff is very helpful and kind.
It is better to book beforehand.
I will come back again.

Always great food, provided they've still got it! E.g they apparently had run out of tiramisu by 8:45pm! And the coffee machine was already shut down by 9! Service can be great one minute and nonexistent the next, only to see them all gathered in one spot chatting with each other. Otherwise, fantastic food!

Great location, wonderful staff, reasonable prices but they don’t really cater for pescatarians. Mostly extreme choices of strictly red meat or vegetarian. Would be great if they had a fish dish, a chicken dish...over even the option to add prawns to their vegetarian dishes. Not really catering for all tastes.

I think I just found Italian food heaven in Sydney 🤤 Il Baretto doesn’t try to flair Italian cuisine to make it more “modern,” they keep it traditional and simple instead. Their carbonara, for instance, is made in the traditional roman way with pecorino, eggs, pancetta and no cream (as it should be 😇). For their pasta pricing ($18-29), you definitely get your money’s worth because of their generous portions and amazing flavours 👅

Really dig the fit out and vibe but unfortunately food was a huge letdown. Menu option was already a bit limited to begin with and the calamari was sold out(our reservation was 8:30pm) on the day. Mussels flavors were alright but meats were really tiny(bar Reggio ones got fat&juicy ones and much cheaper), meat balls flavor was meh.
Pastas we got one special of the day: passatelli con gamberi - I’m sorry but I must say I had way better seafood pastas for less than $29.
Duck pappardelle ragu was also very mediocre, duck were tasteless and tough.
