STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
No customer service at all. We hired a property whilst renovating our home in Mt.Martha and paid considerable monies from March 2021 to Dec 2021 only to be asked to leave prior to xmas due to safety issues associated to the house. A balcony collapsed onto our daughters car causing 10k worth of damage. Both balconies were defective at move in and comms support this yet they did nothing to rectify it.
Lucky no one was injured. Andrea expects us to fix the car on our insurance and pay all costs. She hasnt helped at all. NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY. DAMAGE CAUSED BY THIS PROPERTY

We booked anticipating this Company would live up to their mission statement! They said they prided themselves on their service!
We were totally disappointed.
Despite being charged a 'get ready fee' the place was covered in dust.We had to clean a toilet, the stove top and drawers before we could even begin to settle in.
When we went to cook on the barbecue not only was it not clean the gas bottles were near to empty and we had to finish our meal in the oven.
There were also a lack of wine glasses.
The Company did remedy the issues the next day but it meant we were interrupted for most of the

I booked a holiday house for a special occasion for a second time with Andrea and her team recently. Andrea and Jane were amazing to deal with, they found me a perfect house for the second time. The house was stunning, clean, well equiped and maintained. It even had extra equipment set up for our young children. Andrea helped me arrange local dinners and outing for myself and my family. Andrea went to all lengths to assist us before, during and after our stay, I look forward to dealing with Andrea for our next peninsula vacation. Once you have paid for your booking, all customer service ends. We experienced a number of issues with the very expensive property we hired for a special weekend away (including significant leaks and amenities not working) and had incredibly poor communication from Holiday Shacks; they couldn't even work an apology into the terse email they sent in response to my query after our stay. Further, there are hidden and very unreasonable 'threats' of additional fees through the booking process and once you have booked, and whilst the house itself was fine it was absolutely not worth it given how Holiday

Be very wary of Holiday Shacks claim of being a "prestige service". It is clear when a problem becomes to difficult they just put the shutters up and ignore correspondence. Having rented properties all over Australia we have never had an issue getting a bond back and in fact receive praise from the owners on how we looked after the property. When we were short changed on a return of our bond for something that clearly was not of our doing Holiday Shacks simply shrugged there shoulders. Would be happy to provide details to anyone concerned before making a booking.

The house was reasonable but considering the monies we spent huge maintenance issues of which Andrea and her team never replied. When you phone them its a call centre, no support at all let alone any after hours service, they take your name and phone number. (i.e. smoke alarm activating all night and wouldn't stop, no hot water, disruption to electricity for extended periods

A fantastic and effortless stay at Sorrento Serenity. Not only was the property recommended to us absolutely perfect for our group but the attention to detail of the home when we got there was next level. This is truly one of the best rental management experiences I have ever had and I know all of our group really appreciated the fact once we arrived it was all about relaxing and enjoying ourselves. Great location. Great house. Great Service. We were so lucky to get away on a girls' weekend just before lockdown 4.0
Holiday Shack looked after us in every way and the house was everything they promised it would be. It was super well equipped, with all the mod cons, enough space in the common areas and the bedrooms were generous as advertised. We had an awesome time, thanks to Holiday Shack. They really live up to the hype!

What a Fantastic Property! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Newhaven. The Views of the bay and the Melbourne City Skyline in the distance was just amazing. The house was clean and very well presented when we arrived. The team at Holiday Shacks made everything really easy and stress free when I booked they were fantastic to deal with. I Definitely would recommend this house to family and friends. Cant wait to book our next trip! Thank you Holiday Shacks!
