Chronic health conditions, including asthma, diabetes and chronic heart disease, child health, immunizations and wound care. Carrie graduated from the University of Tasmania back in to 2007. After graduating, she commenced working in areas of high dependency, coronary care, and Emergency in Hobart before relocating to Sydney to work at Westmead Children's Hospital.

Antenatal shared care is an arrangement where care of a pregnant woman is shared between a hospital maternity team and the general practitioner or GP. With antenatal shared care, your GP will provide most of your care during your pregnancy, whilst the hospital maternity team will manage the care surrounding your baby's delivery.
Whether it's a simple cold or a severe headache, this is where your journey to get healthier starts. Based on the clinical observation, your GP will then formulate a treatment plan that suits your specific medical needs. However, if this is your first time with us, we would like to like to spend more time to understand your clinical and social aspects of your life.

Dr. Majella Soumakiyan
One of the top Doctors serving in Sydney. I had been putting off seeing a doctor for years and she worked with me on a long list of issues I had been ignoring and within 2 visits had them all settled and set up with her. Understanding patients needs and allowing them to voice their thoughts are key in my opinion and she takes the time to listen and follows with me.

Dr Majella an staff are more than helpfull Majella has been my Dr for years and If you want a Dr that actually takes the time to listen to you than she is the Dr for you appointments are always on time and the surgery is the cleanest I have ever been in Amanda always greets everyone with a smile an she is so easy to talk to as is Carrie they are the best

All the staff here are beyond friendly and welcoming, and really take the time to make sure you feel comfortable. Everything was very clean and covid measures were in place in the waiting room which I really appreciated as most places haven't been following them recently. Will highly recommend to anyone in future.

Doctor Majella is the only General Practitioner I would go to. Always reliable, trustworthy and most of all open minded. Fantastic practitioner who is original in her approach and always happy to work with the patient the best way possible. I recommend to everyone. Her stuff are lovely people who always will help you.

Dr Soumakiyan is a wonderful doctor. She takes the time to talk with me at every visit, she is patient and understands that some people just need that extra bit of care. I trust her immensely and she has become a major part of my support system. She encourages me to be the best I can in a completely holistic way. If you want to see a GP that really cares about you, Dr Soumakiyan will not disappoint you. It has taken me a long time to find a GP that takes the time to talk with me, get to know me and find out exactly how to help. Her new practice is friendly, bright and pretty.
