Wolf Kropf Dental
Prevention is better than cure, but if it's too late for that, Dr Kropf will make you comfortable and address the problem. Dr Kropf loves to see you, but he also loves to know you're taking care of your own teeth! Dr Wolf Kropf is a solo dental practitioner who has been operating since 1981, most recently in Glandore, prior to moving to new premises in Rose Park - nestled between Adelaide's Victoria Park, Norwood, Dulwich and Kensington Park.

Wolf takes pride in his caring and gentle approach to serving the whole family's dental needs, whether it's a simple check-up or dental implants. For large dental conglomerates, time is money, but Dr Kropf works without those constraints. Operating independently, Wolf treats all his patients with maximum attention and consideration, and the highest quality service.
Services
Not many people actually enjoy a visit to the dentist. Wolf understands that - your mouth is yours! But regular check-ups are the best way of avoiding more involved procedures further down the track. The toothache associated with a serious dental condition is not something you'll be able to ignore.
A tooth is a complex structure - you don't just have a mouthful of rocks. A tooth's bony exterior encases a hollow 'canal' filled with a pulpy soft tissue that extends into the root. Sometimes the pulp is unable to repair itself, which can result in the tissue becoming inflamed and possibly infected.
A dental implant is effectively an artificial replacement for an entire tooth - both the root and the crown. The 'root' of the implant is created with a threaded base, like a screw, which is surgically fixed into the gum and provides the 'anchor' for the crown, just as the root does in a natural tooth.
Enamel, the outside coating of a tooth, is shaped in a 'crown' at the top of the tooth, and is very hard. However, physical injury and/or decay will damage the enamel. An artificial crown can be placed over a tooth to 'replace' the natural crown, to restore function and appearance. The appearance of crowns is matched to your existing teeth.
An attractive smile is usually also a healthy smile, and certainly adds to your confidence. Dental beauty is typically not just 'skin' deep - regular teeth are less susceptible to wear, less likely to cause wear and fatigue of other structures around your mouth such as the jaw joint, and typically easier to keep clean.
