The Albion Hotel has been around since 1890, and is the reason the suburb of Cottesloe exists. Originally a stopover point on the long horse ride from the port city of Fremantle to the business centre of Perth, the Albion boasts many historical features.
We've kept some of these as a tribute and to carry on the history of this great pub, including beautiful ceiling fans from New Orleans, Tiffany chandeliers, luxury preserved boardrooms with original furnishings, old documents, and photos adorning the walls.Our Bistro is open every day of the week for lunch and dinner.

When you walk into the spacious Bistro at the Albion, you'll notice how at home you feel, with modern but historical finishes tying in our dining space to the iconic history. Our Bistro is the perfect setting for an overdue family lunch, a catch up with mates, an intimate date night or any other occasion.
We pride ourselves on having something for everyone with a huge range of wine available, hailing from premium Australian producers and imported overseas drops. We wouldn't be your local without a wide range of beer on tap either, so take a look at the selection we've got and toast with your mates. Serving our locals and visitors is what we love.
The Queen Victoria Ballroom is our largest function room which features beautifully refurbished historical architecture boasting its own private bar with draught beer, a dance floor, two original fireplaces and a private balcony. Included in hiring the Queen Victoria Ballroom is a mounted projector screen, microphone and space for a DJ and band if you wish.
We strive to be at the heart of our local community by providing a place for friends to meet, for families to relax and to host local functions and events. We are the unofficial 'clubhouse' for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

My daughter and I decided to try the Sunday morning breakfast advertised on the wall outside the hotel...
Admittedly, it was very quiet when we arrived ( which was early)..
It seems to be a new option they're offering, but the usual high standard of food from their kitchen was evident..
Choices of muesli, eggs benedict etc ..were washed down with delightful cups is cappuccino and hot chocolate!!!
I believe the Albion Hotel is a hidden treasure in the Cottesloe/ Claremont area.
Once you've been inside, and enjoyed their hospitality, you are much more likely to become a regular!!!

The albion what can i say but amazing. We had our wedding ceremony and reception here, the staff were so amazing and catered to our needs. They jumped in and helped with set up and did so much for us. The patrons were just as amazing with constant kind words to my now wife as she walked up stairs and as we left to go get pictures. I cant thank the staff and managers enough and we loved the little picture and message they left in our guest book we were so happy that they had a good time aswell at our wedding.

Our current favourite place to sit in the beer garden on Saturday mornings.
Food is high standard, they use the QV code to order food and drinks which, once you get your swede around it, makes for a really relaxing time.
Staff are friendly, beer is cold, toilets are clean and accessible for the ladies which my wife finds excellent.
We sit in the beer garden winter or summer to be outdoors but the decor inside is excellent.
Anyone remember trolley-buses in the Perth CBD? Well there one inside converted to a dining room.
Well worth a look in and prices are competitive to elsewhere. No nasty

Went to the Albion for our second anniversary. Very interesting decor inside..FRiendly staff. Clean and tidy restaurant
Only downside was our share entree almost came out the same time as the mains.
The 1980s music was also a bit blah
Good for any occasion
I had the steak sandwich was very tasty
My boyfriend had the Cajun chicken burger which he enjoyed. The cheese was yum, unfortunately not put in the steak sandwich 😭

Enjoyed our meals. Serving size were all good. Good choice of meals.
Table service was excellent fast and efficient, all staff were friendly and helpful.
Prices on par with most other pubs.
The pub was very nostalgic, had a great atmosphere.
Parking is good and free.
Good access for people with walking aids and mobility impairment.
