Salamanca Terraces had views of the bay, yet close to the CBD of Hobart. Well appointed modern apartments that looked out on the historic quarter of Hobart. Cobblestone lanes, barely altered from the convict days. Touch those sandstone walls and be cast back in chains with the ghosts of centuries past. Sip on a local red and try not hear the cries for mercy from the brutal punishment of souls that now have invaded your mind Wow!!

Very impressed with Salamanca Terraces! We stayed here for 5 nights with our toddler for our self driving tour of hobart and surrounds. The rooms were impeccably clean, any requests were dealt with quickly and professionally.
Fantastic location, right on battery point near lots of great restaurants and shops. 10/10 would recommend and will stay here again.

Wasn't warned that eewhad to go to a different hotel to check-in at 11pm at night with a baby, Good location right in Salamanca.
Whole place smelt like stale cigarette.
booked the penthouse suite, it was very outdated. Could do with a good clean and revamp, was a little dissatisfied with the $300+ a night price tag. Bathroom floor tiles grout were black, need a good scrub, bad smell in the rooms even when we aired out the apartment during the days. Beds were very uncomfortable and the curtains needed a good clean. I think there would be better value for money accommodation in the area

Hit and miss. The rooms are good for size. But its becoming slightly behind what others are offering in the area. That said the rooms are clean.
Perfect location and onsite parking. Easy 2 min walk to Salamanca. Some rooms would have a nice view over the harbour.
You need to check in at another hotel across the road.

The Salamanca Terraces were lovely to stay at. With two big bedrooms, two toilets and a kitchenette it was very comfortable. All the amenities were modern and the location of the Terraces in the heart of Salamanca place made it easy to walk to all the local attractions and restaurants. Car park was provided and discount to have breakfast over at Lenna Hotel which was delicious. We would definitely stay here again, they even gave us a free bottle of wine.

Clean accommodation, albeit a bit sterile and bland but we were just sleeping there. Good parking, helpful staff and fantastic location, even with views somewhat obscured by the silo apartments. A bit too noisy at night, sealing of balcony door wasn't great and it really needs double glazing with the 5am recycling truck picking up out the front from nearby restaurants every day we were there.
