I love pizza and have tried many places in different states, so to impress my pallet can be a challenge. I happend upon a magazine in Baton Rouge one day and on the cover they had an image of a pizza and the restaurants name was Rocca. The image was very appealing so I thought, I must try this specific pizza that was pictured. The pizza was called their "Pistachio" pizza, under their white pie category, and the toppings included pistachios, bacon, yukon gold potatoes, fresh mozzarella, rosemary, and local honey. Love this place! The seasonal specials are phenomenal (butternut squash stuffed shells?!? HELLO!! 🔥) and the main menu is always on point. You have to start with the garlic knots and whipped provolone. Perfect little twisted pieces of heaven with lots of garlic and lemon, and the light and fluffy provolone clouds top every bite off to create a masterpiece in your mouth. My husband loves the pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, and I haven’t found a dish I didn’t love. One of my favorite spots in Baton Rouge for sure!

My absolute favorite restaurant! Every pizza is tasty (especially the pesto) I was pleasantly surprised by the cheese pizza. I go to most restaurants expecting the usual bland tasting cheese pizza, but here it is, FULL of flavor, and the texture starts a party in your mouth!! I'm always impressed by the cocktails, I try a new one every visit and they're all delicious. The service is consistently great! Deja is especially attentive and so sweet. The managers are constantly visiting tables and chatting up guests, which really gives the experience a personal feel. Honestly, I could go on and on about

I really like this place! Government St. has really been revived and this place is a perfect fit. The atmosphere is quaint with just the right amount of hip. The open kitchen concept is refreshing and adds a whole other vibe.
The menu is full of new flavors and ideas that I really loved, with a nice selection of wines and beer as well. But the thing that blew my mind: THE GARLIC KNOTS WITH WHIPPED PROVOLONE!! Oh yes!!! A must try!!! We also tried a couple of the pizza's and a couple of the sandwiches.
Here is my only gripe and the reason for 4 stars instead of five (and it's an easy fix)...The

Garlic knots alone rank this place 10/10 - whipped provolone - what??!! didn't even know that was a thing - incredible flavor. We had three pizzas and they were all amazing - margarita, prosciutto, pesto - all good. Convenient location, very friendly staff. Good vibe. If you hit peak time you may have to wait. Clean. Highly recommend!

The pizza was delicious! I typically like a thicker crust but the white sauce, mushrooms, red onions, and mazarella were all wonderful flavors for my pallet. It was like a melding of goodness and joy piled on top of pizza dough and cooked over an open flame.if you're looking for a large pizza, this isn't the place. I shared it with one other person and while the taste was amazing, the portions could be a bit bigger. However, the dining area was clean and intimate. The staff that helped us were courteous and patient while I figured out what I wanted and I'll surely go back for another visit. They
