Armed with the knowledge that children learn best when provided with an environment in which they can freely connect with their surroundings, we provide fun and engaging activities to challenge and entertain every child. At Play and Learn Child Care Centres we take the value of early childhood very seriously, so providing families with information about what their child will be experiencing during their day is important to us.

Our services cater for infants from just 6 weeks old and toddlers through to children aged 5.

Services
Our educational philosophy is to create and foster environments filled with warmth and homeliness. It is our belief that the foundation of this success is relationships - relationships with families, their children and the community. We begin this relationship upon enrolment, giving parents an opportunity to formally and informally communicate their needs, interests and background experiences.
Karalee Kindergarten and Schoolie House is a purpose-built service with three learning spaces available for children from 3 to 5 years. In addition we also offer before and after school care for students from Mount Crosby State School and Karalee State School. We run a Queensland Approved Kindergarten Program for our 4- to 5-year-olds.
Burpengary Play and Learn Centre includes infants from 6wks - 3yrs and a Kindergarten program for our 4yr-5yr olds. Our programs are play based aimed with knowledge that children learn best when provided with opportunities and environments to freely engage with the world around them in pursuit of their own interests and curiosities.
The Centre's Programs are based on developmental observations and the interests of the individual children and the group. Lead Educators display a Weekly Program and Daily Photo Page to show families the educational activities that their children participate in them. Educators take samples of children's work, and meaningful events to be displayed throughout the centre.
In 2016 Sam Feng, Raymond Mak, Julie and Allan Watts commenced the brand of "Play & Learn." Sam Feng has a Bachelor of Business while Raymond Mak is an Certified Practising Accountant. Julie holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood while Allan takes care of all maintenance and building projects. This gives our management team a balance of all aspects of the business.

Awesome centre, with amazing resources for children of all ages. The staff are incredibly caring and nurturing and Have no hesitation in leaving my children in their care. My kids always have a great time and have so much to say about how their day went!!!! 10/10 centre.

This childcare has been life saving for our family, when I drop my boys off I feel like I have dropped them off to a family member rather than a child care. Best Director you will ever meet and the most wonderful staff!
I have a 17 year old down to a 1 year old and have had my kids at many day cares in the past and Play and learn underwood has by far made me feel the most at ease when dropping my children off.
Keep up the great work guys !!
