Services
Wantirna Vet Clinic has been operating on its premises in Wantirna Mall for over 25 years. We have recently undergone major renovations and now have a wonderful facility with state of the art equipment, professional staff, exceptional service and care, all offered in a pleasant ambience with hours convenient for you.
Studies have shown that 70% of cats and 80% of dogs have dental disease by the age of 2 years old. Regular dental check ups, cleaning at home and correct diet will help your pet's dental health. When a dental clean and polish is needed, our staff will provide a fully monitored anaesthetic, a warm and safe environment for your pet and a clean and fresh mouth free from pain.
Your pet has a dedicated nurse and vet to provide pre surgical care, monitoring with state of the art technology to help assess their vital signs during surgery and the post surgical care they need and deserve as they wake up in and warm and safe environment. Cruciate ligament repair, tumour removal, foreign body removal, orthopaedic surgery and others.
Behaviour such as aggression, anxiety, fear, inappropriate urination, howling and excessive licking can cause feelings of distrust, anger, annoyance and distance from the ones who are part of the family. Discussions with your vet can help to work out why your pet is behaving in a certain way and how you and your vet can work together to resolve the issues and make life much happier for all concerned.
Our nurses take your pets health to heart. During your pets complimentary exam a dedicated nurse is able to give advice about your pets weight, flea treatments, dental hygiene, bathing, basic grooming, medication application and nutrition. If there are medical queries about your pet they will refer you for a veterinary consultation.

We have been taking our dogs to Alison for more than 10 years. She is a very devoted vet who obviously cares a lot for her "patients". Earlier this year we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put down our much-loved 17 year old pet. Alison, although away from work at the time, came in to personally see to the procedure. She was compassionate and caring and made the difficult task bearable. I am very grateful for Alison's compassion during that time.
Although we have moved move away from the area, we continued to go back to Wantirna to see Alison when our other pet requires vaccinations etc

I had only just recently found this clinic before my gorgeous Collie Ellie needed to go to doggie Heaven, but I was so happy they could be there for her and us. Everyone is just so lovely, we never felt rushed and I would highly recommend them if you are looking for somewhere to go. Thanks to all the staff for your caring and devotion.

I cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful veterinary clinic! Everyone is just so kind and caring, from the first point of contact at reception...to the vets and vet nurses. They are beyond incredible. As you can imagine, having a senior 9yo shepherd, who is the love of my life, I was distraught over a bleeding tumour she had in her neck. Shepherds are notorious for being prone to everything nasty, especially at an older age. They were just so kind and caring, and went through every part of the process with me, explaining everything to me and the options and their recommendations. They were

My dog was taken by my mum to Wantirna Vet Clinic for his annual checkup. He has a thick coat and she had him shaved right down to the skin a few days prior to his appointment, for the summer hot weather. When I saw him a few days after this appointment, I noticed many cysts, some of them up to 6cm in diameter, on his body and legs. I was understandably concerned about these cysts, however my mum said that the vet didn't mention them. So I called the vet to complain, and they said that they would happily have another look at my dog. I asked whether this would be covered by the $274 bill that we
