As lockdown conditions and government advice changes, we may be required to change our opening arrangements. Please call if you wish to check on the status of your appointment. We also kindly ask you to consider delaying your visit if you are experiencing any flu or cold-like symptoms. Optical Coherence Tomography offers advanced 3D scans of the back of the eye, allowing for a more accurate examination.

The Optomap system captures an ultra-wide view of the retina in just seconds, enhancing our already comprehensive eye exams. Myopia, or short-sightedness, is a condition in which near objects are seen more clearly than objects that are far away. An expanded area of optometric practice that considers your vision in relation to your visual demands such as reading and computer work.
Services
Eyecare Plus Springvale is one of Melbourne's best full-service optometry practices with dry eye, myopia and vision therapy clinics. Denise Lee is passionate about all aspects of vision care. She has always worked in private practices which allow her to focus on providing high quality clinical care.
We are pleased to be able to accept ALL private health funds, where policy-holders have "extras" cover for optical products and services. Most private health funds run on a calendar year from January until December, and unused claims generally do no carry over to the next year, so be sure to use your entitlement if you can, for example to update your look, or purchase a spare pair of frames.
EyecarePlus Springvale offers bulk billing through Medicare for the majority of services. However there is a $30 technology imaging fee not covered by Medicare, used to help detect early eye disease. This imaging is required annually with your eye examination. EyecarePlus Springvale accepts ALL health funds.
Many eye diseases in their early stages do not show symptoms. With early detection, many diseases can be treated, preventing possible blindness. Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is one of the most advanced diagnostics tools available primarily used for the detection of macular degeneration, glaucoma and diabetic eye disease.
The Optos Daytona is an advance widefield retinal imaging used routinely at our practice to screen for retinal eye disease. The retina is the only part of our body where blood vasculature is visible. As such, systemic disease such as diabetes and hypertension can be seen. Imaging is non-invasive, safe, quick and painless.

I suffer from quite severe dry eyes, I was really pleased to find a specialist optometrist, like Dr Lee, who could treat my condition. I have been going to Dr Lee for over four years, and my eye condition has improved dramatically. Dr Lee is a compassionate practitioner and is a consummate professional in her field. I highly recommend Dr Lee and her team

These guys blew me away with their professionalism and level of customer service. They did charge me $25 for an image of my eyes however it was so they can have a record of its current health status to have something to compare the next time I visit. Amazing people and a very caring optometrist.

I don’t understand the miserable posts I have read here. I attend that clinic fairly often, and find everyone extremely professional, courteous and kind. My GP referred me to that clinic, and I have only ever been referred by him to excellent specialists who have always given me very good care. I wonder if those people complaining about costs have any idea of the cost of the equipment used there. I also wonder if they spend a lot of their time complaining rather than being happy.

Very bad business after many years of going to this optometrist I am very disappointed in their service and loyalty and pricing to their customers 1st your general eye test should be bulk billing but they charge $30 on top of bulk billing for 1 eye normal photo every year for general eye examination, 2nd they talk you into a second eye test which is bulk billing plus $70 for 1 “3D” photo so in saying that they charge you double bulk billing form the government and then cash in hand! and if you don’t buy their product they will start using scare tatctics to scare you into buying their product
